For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

Speechless is an interesting title. Its puzzle solving horror game with some story elements and intrigue. The gameplay itself is simple but you catch on quite quickly. Its a loop based system where you have to solve things to progress and try to "break" the loop and get out you know. Expect to start in the hallway and fall in love with the hallway because its your only safe space in the game. "Sometimes" heh, but yeah its only a couple bucks and not a bad sit through. Aside from that I'm not exactly sure what the game is trying to convey, there are a lot of rough and unknown elements story wise and its a game that just drops you in so it isn't the best at explaining why you're there or what to do outside of gtfo pretty much. If you like structure, might not be your thing, but for what it is. Isn't bad, but a bit more guidance would be nice and dealing with those zombies in the tight cells spaces would be easier with more cover.
**Note:** I received this game for free from the developer, but this review reflects my own thoughts. Speechless surprised me with its loop-based gameplay and eerie atmosphere. The sound design is excellent, and I loved how the game built tension throughout each loop. I also appreciated that the game didn't rely too much on sudden jump scares. However, the atmosphere and sound design were the only things that truly scared me. Beyond that, the game wasn't particularly frightening. It also lacks some basic setting elements, and the storyline can feel a little confusing and disorganized. I also wish there were more diverse environments and scenes. The narrow corridors can get tedious after a while. I think having more hiding spots, closets, and enemies lurking in confined spaces would make the experience more tense and engaging. Regardless, considering the price, Speechless is still an enjoyable horror experience. If you enjoy horror games with puzzles and loop-based gameplay, I highly recommend giving it a try. It's incredibly good value for money, especially considering it's made by a small indie development team. Hope your next game is as fun and successful!

For a solo-dev project, Speechless had great atmosphere. The prison felt oppressive, and the sound design did a lot to build tension. The game felt ambitious for a 1–1.5 hour experience, and explored some interesting psychological and thematic ideas. That said, I encountered several areas that could use a bit more polish: the flashlight bugged throughout the game, making progression difficult; the game had no graphics or brightness options; and some of the puzzles were so cryptic that I needed a walkthrough to continue (though puzzle difficulty is, of course, subjective). If you enjoy atmospheric, psychological indie horror and don't mind a bit of roughness around the edges, Speechless is worth checking out.
This game has a clever take on repetition horror where if you missed something you need to figure out what it was in order to continue onward to the next floor. I did struggle at some unclear puzzles, but I still had fun while trying to solve them. I just wish there was better lighting as it was hard to tell where to continue on in one floor since the door was tucked away in a really dark corner. I had to turn off my lights in my room irl to properly see it after restarting the floor and losing my flashlight in the process. The zombie guard on some floors was also very inconsistent with finding where I was even if I was crouched in a room with the door closed I would still be found and attacked even if he never went into that room previously. At some points hiding at the beginning of the levels doorway was a 50/50 shot for him to completely ignoring me so I can explore while his back was turned was the only way to make it through. It felt very unfair and hard to find and read the notes to continue to the next floors of the story. Other than those small bumps this game is solid, atmosphere is very eerie, and it got me scared a good number of times when I usually can anticipate them so I had a blast playing this despite my frustrations!
Speechless really surprised me, especially considering it was made by a small indie team. The atmosphere, sound design, and the way the tension builds with each loop are very well done. I especially liked how the game doesn’t rely only on jump scares, but constantly keeps you wondering, “What’s going to happen next?” The puzzles are generally enjoyable, and some of them are genuinely creative. However, the lack of guidance can sometimes make it difficult to figure out what you’re supposed to do. I also feel the story could have been a little clearer and more impactful. Negative points: - Lack of basic graphics and gameplay settings - Some bugs can force you to restart a level - The story can feel confusing and a bit all over the place - Sneaking around enemies in tight hallways can become tedious, with very few options to deal with them Despite these issues, considering its price, Speechless is still a fun and enjoyable horror experience. If you enjoy horror games with puzzles and looping gameplay, it’s definitely worth giving it a try. Great work by the small team behind it. I’d love to see what horror games they make in the future! Grikafa Score: 7.1/10
a cool little indie horror game. I enjoyed the game overall and that there was also a small story around it made it more interesting. My only downpoints were that i personally struggled with the last two riddles, and the jumping mechanic gets you stuck on certain objects, but the repeat button helps with that.
Played it because it looked interesting, stayed because I genuinely wanted to see how it ended. The atmosphere is solid, the audio is great, and it kept me on edge without feeling frustrating. Definitely worth picking up if you like indie horror. ❤️
