Element TD

Very fun little tower defense game. Has some unique ways the towers upgrade and synergize. Worth the $1 for a little fun.

Годный тавер дефенс. В игре очень много тайлов для размещения башен и множество комбинаций элементов для создания всевозможных башен с уникальными свойствами и атаками. Система комбинаций стихий выглядит шикарно и необычно для игр подобного рода. Из минусов - нет карточек и достижений (только внутриигровые). Любителям жанра TD однозначно рекомендую.

Element TD is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This mobile app is a fairly simplistic TD but you do get a large array of, well, really similar towers, that you use to blast enemies. Tower placement areas are reasonably generous, and at least they tried to do graphics... not winning any awards, but better than a lot of mobile apps out there. Ultimately this is just a relatively uninteresting and uninspired TD game... it's got all the elements (geddit) of a TD game, but nothing beyond that. Being this painfully generic makes it really hard to be inspired or interested in a game. From a technical perspective, as a mobile app, this doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone. These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this mobile app is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 11 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality mobile app is to be expected. Element TD is relatively cheap at $1 USD (same price as on the app stores), but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the mobile app, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

I am a little biased because I enjoy playing a lot of tower defense games in my toilet sessions when I let my inner demons out after munching some junk food. This game right here, on my phone, I probably rocked easy 1000+ hours. Is this the best tower defense game? Nope, not at all, nowhere near close. However, this is ancient, this is OG. I played it when it was a Warcraft 3 fan made map back in early 2000s when I was bored playing Dota 5.84c mindlessly for hours and I really liked it back then. Super chill, best for multitasking, great for office hours slavery. This may be totally ancient and probably extremely base level in today's standards, however, on sale this goes for like .50 USD. You really can't go wrong with a price fluctuating between 50 cents to a dollar. I can't think of anyone, even in North Korea, going broke with 50 damn cents. In my opinion, if you like this genre, this is a nice addition to your library/collection. It does have its own achievements within the game, unfortunately not implemented to Steam, and as an old school meister, I completed it all within few sessions but I definitely recommend buying this to anybody. Especially if you enjoy classic games. Good luck, have fun!

Hard not to recommend this game. It is suitable for any skill level and will also run on potato specs. For 0,99€ this is a steal and on sale it even goes lower than that. As the name suggests, this is a TD game with elemental towers. You can also combine them and level them up. I like the variety of the tower selection, their design also looks pretty cool. I actually tried to do all the combinations out of curiosity just to see what they look like. The enemies also have weaknesses and strengths against certain elements so you gotta choose the right towers. I also love the music and map design, just wish there was a level editor or a few more maps for variety. But again, this game is cheap so I can't really complain.

Well i will give the game rating 6/10. It is alright for it's cheap price and quite enjoyable for few hours. Mainly purpose u play these kind of game to beat high score. There were no storyline so it felt like quite empty. Best Part: Can be immediately to be played, no storyline, and less tutorial. The tower design and the mana mechanism for unlocking the tower. The depth of tower functional like some slow down enemy some for single target high damage to the enemy and etc. Part to be improvement: The map needed to be able zoom out further more. Less text on the effect of the tower / better UI design. Have more map to be plays.

A game equal to its money. Five maps many towers and several enemies. Internal achievements but not external. It quickly starts to become monotonous, but the game is not bad.
