SpaceNET - A Space Adventure

It's a really fun adventure game. You collect items and solve puzzles. The world is really enjoyable to explore and the puzzles can be quite challenging! Took me 5 hours to beat and I didn't 100% complete the game. If you like sci-fi and adventure games definitely check it out!

SpaceNET is a cool little game that's a bit different from your average space-themed game. Its simplistic graphics are actually pretty cool, because it doesn't automatically totally give away what you're looking at, leading you to explore your environment with more care. The controls are easy enough, and I also liked that the puzzles and the course of action you needed to take weren't always really obvious either, adding some challenge. The music and sound design work well, and the tunes in the bar are total bangers! Overall, it's an interesting take on a sci fi style, and don't let the simplistic visuals fool you - they're pretty effective.

This game is full of enjoyable graphics and sounds and has a thrilling atmosphere. I totally recommend it!

[b]Simple and effective[/b] The game is simple, even somewhat simplistic. It's reminiscent of the old adventure games I used to play on 8-bit computers. But the simplicity is a quality here. The game possesses all the QoL improvement you're supposed to have in the present times and the adventure goes smoothly despite some head scratching moments and a bit of freeform exploration. I would describe the gameplay as very pleasant. Most of the times I was stuck I could find the solution by myself and the feeling of progression was great. The writing is mediocre but the dev was smart enough to keep it as limited as possible. Along with the choice of using symbolic graphics, this helps immersion in a surprising way. The graphics look like vector images the type you'd expect to find on an old computer from the 80s. This really fits the theme of the game which involves a fair bit of hacking. The base price seems a bit high, but at the same time I had more fun playing this than most of the games I played this year, so idk. Welll... Its okay I guess but needs more work. Fortunately its still being updated so I will let it off with a good grade. Its not all non-linear though. The game ressembles Sundog frozen legacy in a way I think... But I guess its worth the price and its interesting. Also just goes to show Graphics aren't everything.
