Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The only reason I'm not refunding it is because of the low price. The game has a ton of potential but I think the scope/scale of the game has surpassed what a solo developer can manage. Dealing with jank for indeterminant periods of time while a solo dev eventually gets around to it, in early access? That's one thing. But going 1.0 release and feeling like you have an issue but you have no way to know if the singular solo developer knows, is working on it, or has plans to address it, is imo not an acceptable state for a 1.0 product to be in. And no, I do not expect this amazingly talented solo guy to magically know about my specific issue and provide a response or answer, that's the problem. I think the game is too big and complicated for a singular person to manage, and I'm hoping he's seen enough success from total sales and new sales at 1.0 launch to be able to comfortably afford hiring some help for logistics support (community management, organization, etc) and polish/bugfix assistance. As soon as I see some positive movement and feel like I can comfortably play the game, I will be updating this review accordingly.

Ai slop for the voices. I can understand not being able to hire voice actors for an indie project but just leave them without voices and let us read the dialogue without this godforsaken noise in my ear.
the game was "released" a year ago out of early access but the original Mass Effect has better graphics and plays better than this game. It seems like the developer got bored and gave up on the game while it was still in the early Alpha stages and just decided to release it as is with all of its bugs and jankiness and then abandon the game entirely.
Unfinished game , no update for the last two months. Heads disappear, empty planets... Don't buy unless you see a big update after 2.0.8
Issue after issue, full of bugs.... This one was a big, BIG, disappointment. I have few hours in X4, Starfield, Elite, Everspace2, even Freelancer... SpaceBourne 2, comparing to previous titles looks more like a stack of unwanted leftovers of those, an unfinished alpha... Graphical bugs, well it is not like they appear from time to time, the feel more like a constant part of the game. Fast example: i wear 2 completly different weapons, holstered on my back not only they look the same but they merge with their buts... their skin changes every time i handle them... Language localization in this game is an absolute absurd... Feels like 3/4 of the game was translated by ai and the rest is simply missing? Same statisctics, skills have different names and descriptions... Steering is strange, so is char movement, you can acctually see him lagging while the jetpack is on, like it has a 1 sec animation merged with a bug in an endless loop. Gothic in space ;) Maybe on a 60-90% sale... Meh...
I really wanted to like this game, but I just can't. This is a one man show game developer and it shows. Don't get me wrong, there bones of a great game are here but the execution was just too sloppy to see past. There are the bugs, so many bugs. Even trying to look past the fact it's a one man develeoper, the bugs are just too impactful for me to keep playing. I experienced a total of 14 gamebreaking (having to reload a previous save), 6 medium bugs (abandon a mission because its not working for example), and 31 minor bugs (UI that doesn't do what the button says it does, spelling mistakes, incorrect mission details etc). The final straw was a bug that prevented warp travel which completely prevented any way of progressing the game. This particular bug has been "fixed" since 2023 but complaints have been coming in since that time in EA. The other issue I have is what I like to call onemanitis. This is the proliferation of unexplained and disperate game systems and functions. This commonly happens with a game dev does not have a tight detailed design and incorperates new ideas during development. Sometimes this works, mostly it does not. Here it does not. So many UI elements had no explanations or I as the player was assumed to know. Weird game systems that sound good on paper but are just hard to use annoying and pointless (e.g. scanning). Clunky UI for ship inventory and component management. You get the idea. Ultimately this could be a great game but given how SpaceBourne 1 is still riddled with bugs and confusing and clashing systems, I doubt it will. However, if the developer can get a little assistance with UI design and technical development this review could change.
Better than starfield. Honestly if u Like games like mount and blade you will love this. I wish the world felt more alive but being one dev he focused on making the gameplay fun over Story and objectives. Love the video tutorials as well. Some systems go deep and needed the extra aid. performance is great but i'm on a 4090
A charming, buggy mess. When it works, it is quite enjoyable to play, but it is quite frustrating the other half of the time. I do not think I have ever experienced a game build up a memory leak of 25GB before. 8/10 for an indie game once it is fully playable. The game has a lot of spirit but mostly lacking on the QoL side, especially with regard to sorting systems in the explorer guild node list (and a few other lists that could use a sort or filter). Although I wouldn't recommend it right now, I have faith the dev will sort out the issues with crashing, falling through the map and (some of the) memory leaks, so I will set the review to positive.
