Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This is unfinished software in some kind of alpha state. You just run into one issue after another and have to somehow figure out how to do what you're supposed to; or you get stuck because something is not working and have to quit or even kill the game. Even 1st person view isn't working right but gets reset every time, and when you're wielding a weapon you are stuck in 3rd person view altogether. The idea is nice and it could be a good game, but all these issues take the fun out of it.
game not ready for release. not EA, not even beta. way too many crashes and bugs. "need more time in the oven" more like another couple of years at least, regardless of how many patches you see coming out in recent week since launch. oh well, at least it was relatively cheap.
This game's similarities to STARFIELD:

Story probably generated by AI
Loads of Loading Screens
Boring Planets
POIs all look the same
Shallow Characters
Meh Graphics

This game's differences to STARFIELD:

The developer actually TRIED to make a good game
Innovative ideas like EVA etc.
An actual economy
Fun
I just can't bring myself to not recommend this game. It's not good, but we need more indie developers like this. The abysmal AI voices make it almost unplayable for me though even if many aspects of this game are really fun.
Bugs galore, voice acting is all done courtesy of the cheapest AI voice generation imaginable, graphics are circa 2001 era, story is a mile wide and an inch deep.
I am a fan of space simulation games. I want to like this game. But there are issues that prevent me from continue exploring this game. 1. Poor resolution. I'm playing on 3440x1440 Ultrawide, no upscaling. But idk why the the resolution is very poor even in the max setting. Everything is rather blurry like an old game. Maybe it's because of poor texture quality or something else, I can't tell. 2. Bad lighting rendering Normally I'm not critical about this area. But lighting / shadow in this game feels terrible everywhere - starting planet, space, and station. It's like there is no directional light and only ambient lights exist. General comment in other areas - Decent ship control The control can be setup/tweaked nicely, similar to X4 which I am a fan of. Ship maneuver feels lacking inertia; but it's too early for me to criticize. Note that I only play in cockpit view.
Bounty hunting guild introduction mission is broken. The mission track xen does not give you a mission tracker. Cancel the mission twice just for the same result. My ship constantly gets stuck in the planet. Im good on this game until more updates and patches come out.
bought this game years ago and was intrigued to find out that they were still updating this game but it seems they use voice ai now for some of their dialogue
при всей любви к фрилансеру и подобным играм - пока не могу себя заставить играть в это. всё какое-то омерзительно неудобное и запутанное, невнятное
It is for sure worth your buying! While the individual parts may not be up to AAA game standards, they come together in a synergistic way. The result is a game that will pull you into the fantasy of the space empire so hard you'll forget about its weaknesses as you enjoy its strengths. This game does many things better than the big budget games. The guild system gives you a variety of missions with different stakes, and total freedom to switch between them. The Faction system's missions (mail) are attached to some really meaningful stakes. The exploration probes minigame is a cool way to tackle exploration and, in some ways, it is more engaging than the AAA games equivalent, since it involves gameplay and skill, rather than just looking at a progress bar and go somewhere to cash in. The game nudges you along a storyline, but you can go at your own place or refuse to participate at all. I've just dabbled in the Conquest and Faction building games. So far, it is very interesting. The addition of your very own wingmen and ground combat squad helps a lot during all kinds of missions. You can also assign some of your NPC's to take on some faction missions for you, which gives you the freedom to do guild missions and other stuff. I like X, Elite Dangerous, Star citizen, and I have pretty much every space game of note be it 2D or 3D. While some of them do some aspects very well, Spacebourne is the only one where you find all that stuff together.
I bought this game into thinking that it lived up to its promises. Though initially I discounted some of the reviews and comments made about this, I am unfortunately eating my own words. This game is very buggy and despite playing different ways and approaches, I can not get past the first mission when you have to get to a hiding spot in a debris field activating the cloak at a specific point and then eject to go into space with your EV suit. For me it just sticks in one spot despite trying to move, the only thing that moves is the exhaust out of jet pack and that is it. It would have been more beneficial to allow the user to make their own choices and experience on their own terms while the game itself reacts around the player's input rather than a fixed navigation point? So no, I would not recommend this game until these bugs are ironed out with further patching.
