Space Invaders Extreme

Only pirates can play this game offline. Ironic, isn't it? Since the annoying extra-DRM is supposed to prevent piracy, but only bothers those who spent money on the game?

Please add an online only tag to this game because no where in the description does it say that. The game was s great and fun, but I bought it to play on my steam deck while on the go as in offline. Imagine my surprise to find out that the single player game is online only. If you’re going to just play it when you have an internet connection it’s a good game for your PC, but don’t waste your money or time playing it on the steam deck

the game doesn't work in an offline mode in an online mode it starts extremely slowly on a steam deck

Online only for a space invaders game is ridiculous. I thought I had found my long lost childhood ds game that I could now play on my steam deck only to realize its online only. total DRM death I hope all you suits burn in hell for all eternity

Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is great. Taito did a great job of updating this classic with interesting new mechanics. However... I thought the obligatory online connection was there in order to get track of high scores ? Wrong, because most of the times my scores don't register at all, and it seems I'm not the only one to experience this. How could they mess up the main reason of playing this otherwise great game ?

No where in the description does it say that you have to always have an internet connection to play this game. And since i waited too long to actually play it. I can't get refunded so F me i suppose. The game is good there's no doubt about it and i love the music. I know this cause i have the DS version already. If you're going to play on a device that will always have a network connection go nuts, buy the game you won't regret it.

Compared to the DS version, this game is lacking in a lot of areas.

A very fun take on Space Invaders, particularly with the the greater variety it offers and its mechanics. Shame the manual, that explains A LOT about the game, isn't proper in the game, but rather links to a new expired page that links to Taito's default page.

For the 40th Anniversary of Space Invaders Extreme is like a "frenetic modern remaster of the classic" The gameplay is just as enjoyable as the classic... only with the addition of vibrant neon visuals and a dynamic electronic soundtrack! In other words, THE TRUE ADDICTIVE SPACE INVADERS! If you're a Space Invaders fan, BUY THIS GAME and you won't regret it!

space invaders championship edition. it's peak (fair warning: the pc version has forced online drm. I'm sure it can be modded around, but if you don't feel like doing that, I recommend getting this on switch if possible)
