kinda janky and runs poorly, but it's real cool and fun. really captures the energy of loading into a super monkey ball level and trying to ignore the entire level and just jump straight to the goal. i think the bomb mechanic is Bad. also protip: use scrollwheel to adjust mouselook sensitivity. I beat the game with the sensitivity unusably low because i somehow didn't see the tutorial prompt that tells you that scroll wheel Does That.
Of the trilogy, I recommend this one the least. Finicky physics that the game forces you to abuse in ways that I can't comprehend + a bizarre level of control over the ball that I'm p. sure is meant to be like you blowing wind against the ball rather than directly controlling it. It feels weird and not great to play, the psychedelic visuals the series would be known for isn't here yet and overall it's kind of frustrating.
great soundtrack
Gave me headaches, 11/10
balls hehehe
i beat all 116 levels (plus the secret first level the dev made) and this game is truly something lmao a lot of games i see often have mid-games that dip in quality and this game is no exception, i'd say the first 3 to 4 worlds are pretty alright, then the next couple (especially hell, can't believe it myself) have some pretty bad level design, and the final couple worlds aren't as bad as the middle couple but not as good as the first couple, a lot of levels near the end of the game require tightrope walking (or rolling) which just isn't really fun. however, you do get used to the momentum of the ball by that point, and with bombs, a lot of the levels can be cheesed which actually does make the endgame definitely more fun. still inconsistent and frustrating at times but pretty fun all things considered if you enjoy trying to beat things in unintended ways, this game is for you the controls aren't very great, it's hard to control your momentum a lot of times but you do get used to it after playing it enough, it's just unnatural, though i think the biggest issue is the camera. it is always so close to you, and while you can adjust the sensitivity, the max sensitivity is very slow still the music is also pretty good, most of the level music is the same rock songs and as someone who doesn't care much for rock it doesn't do much for me, however all the other songs in this game are great :3 excited to get to spacehole 2018 :3 also i am very confused by the point of m mode, what does the m mean???
Dificil, pero divertido
