I really suggest this game if you're into puzzles, been keeping me occupied for over an hour straight so far
Pretty good. Can be completed under 2 hours.
fun puzzle / platform game
A fun little game that only takes 1 minute to learn to play, 8/10
Super easy to learn, smooth running, and lovely game to play to pass the time
Despite the sparse setting and well-worn concept, this first-person puzzle runs smoothly and without problems. The setting is straightforward and devoid of any story. You are an unknown person who feels obligated to solve a series of challenges. You learn nothing about the world or the situation in which you find yourself. All you know is that you must open the door to the room and step on an illuminated cube to go to the next challenge. There are various mechanics in the game. The first are colored blocks, with each color representing a different mechanic. Red blocks that move as you aim at them and press the button are the most common. Their movement is limited because they only travel from point A to point B and back, so they should be easy to handle. The others are bouncing green, auto-moving purple, and blue blocks that always function in pairs. Momentum is important, so if you jump when a platform is moving, you'll travel further. Control in the air is reasonable and does not make you feel like Superman. The second mechanic is a dimension shift, which allows you to alternate between two dimensions. The basic outline and architecture are largely the same in both; the only difference is the availability of the game's puzzle components. This usually requires switching dimensions and activating platforms during jumps. The difficulty arises because you cannot see what awaits you in the other dimensions. Because stepping on solid ground does not guarantee that you will discover the same ground if you switch, you are forced to study the placement of every object. Moving platforms is the most difficult element since you never know where you are when you switch.
Very much a precision platformer with lots of frustrating restarts. But I know that's what some people like, even if I'm not into it. Somewhat uniquely, in this game there's a lot of momentum, almost a realistic amount if you didn't consider how high you can jump. Thus you really have to plan your movements and how to put just the right amount of momentum to be able to clear the distance that you want to with your jumps. Although this plays very heavily into the precision platformer aspect of it, which as I said I didn't really enjoy, it's interesting and different challenge and I think has potential. What's objectively annoying, however is that the level select screen only let you choose the levels you have finished. Thus if you quit and then come back later you have to replay a level you've already finished before you can get to a new level that you haven't finished. Just absurd. The other thing that's annoying is there's absolutely no controller support. I know some people love mice and hate controllers. Guess what the reverse is also true. There's absolutely no reason why this couldn't support controllers. if the dev would just fix these last two problems I could see recommending it with caveats.
