This software is trash. Doesn't work with push to talk. The push to talk option in the software DOES NOT WORK even with setup correctly. Do yourself a favour and just get Exp soundboard which is freeware and works better than this. I would refund it if I could but I accidently left it on over night and steam thinks I used it more than 30 minutes which is the max time I've used this.
absolute garbage. did not work and messed up my PC super badly
I bought it specifically for Discord. While it works fine now, IT DOESN'T just work directly out of the box and it requires you to change some Discord settings otherwise sounds will randomly cut off or just not play at all. Bellow are the settings I used to make Sound Monster work with Discord. Go to Settings/Voice & Video 1. Make sure INPUT DEVICE is "CABLE Output(VB-Audio Virtual Cable)" 2. INPUT SENSITIVITY set to manual at -65db 3. Disable Echo Cancellation 4. Noise Suppression select None. - Now that we're past this, I'd like to mention that the stock sounds they provide you are a great starters pack to annoy your friends and get you banned from Discord.
Sound Monster Soundboard

Soundpad 2.0
Sound Monster Soundboard is a feature-rich software designed to simplify the process of triggering sounds without the need to remember complex key combinations. With a user-friendly interface and versatile functionality, it allows users to enhance their audio experiences across various applications and games. Yes, this is somewhat similar to Soundpad.
About This Game

Storyline
It’s a software, so yeah, no storyline.
Gameplay Mechanics
Sound Monster Soundboard offers an impressive array of features to enhance your audio interactions. Here are some notable ones: [olist]
Universal Sound Search Key: Trigger a sound search from any application or game using a global hotkey, allowing you to find and play sounds quickly.
Hotkey Customization: Assign frequently used sounds to specific keys for easy access. For example, you can assign all sounds containing the term "GG" to a specific key, ensuring a different "GG" sound plays each time.
Set Hotkeys While Gaming: Instantly set new sound hotkeys without leaving your game. Utilize the universal sound search key, filter your desired sounds, and assign them to key combinations or function keys (F1 to F12).
Walkie Talkie Functionality: Play multiple sounds from a single key to create complex audio compositions. For example, you can simulate a police radio by setting up a start transmission sound, looped radio static while holding the key, and transmission over sound when releasing it.
Censor Bleeps: Mute your microphone automatically when playing a sound. By assigning a censor bleep sound to a key and setting it to loop until release, you can effectively censor unwanted audio during live conversations or recordings.
Customizable Sound Effects: Add various sound effects to specific keys for personalized experiences. From "GAE!" on the G key to Super Mario jump sounds on the space bar, Sound Monster Soundboard offers a range of options to suit your preferences.
Audio Manipulation: Control sound playback with options such as loop, fade in/out, stop other sounds when playing, and more. These features allow for creative audio compositions and seamless transitions.
Mic Muting: Automatically mute your microphone while a sound is playing, ensuring a seamless audio experience without background noise interference. [/olist] Clearly, this offers way more features than Soundpad does. But with quantity, quality shouldn’t deteriorate. The main issue I faced is that it feels really overwhelming. It took me a very long time to figure out how this software works. Tutorials for the utilization of software is common and I hope they find time to implement a proper one.
Visuals and Sound
The user interface of Sound Monster Soundboard is intuitive and user-friendly. Navigating through the software is straightforward, thanks to its well-organized layout and clear labeling of features. The ability to customize hotkeys and assign sounds to keys is simple and can be done seamlessly from anywhere within the application. The drag-and-drop functionality for adding sounds to the library is convenient, as it eliminates the need for manual file organization. Overall, the software provides a smooth and efficient user experience.
Pros

User-friendly interface, making it easy to navigate and customize hotkeys.
Versatile functionality, allowing for complex sound compositions and manipulations.
Walkie Talkie feature enables the creation of immersive audio simulations.
Censor bleeps and mic muting options provide control over audio output during conversations or recordings.
Pre-loaded sound pack offers a variety of sounds to enhance user experience.

Cons

This software actually gives us whatever they promise, so there aren’t any cons to point out. But it’s obvious that this is very similar to Soundpad and it’s almost the same price. It’s natural for us to buy the popular option. If they made this piece of software cheaper, more people would buy this since it’ll become a budget Soundpad.
It gets a bit too overwhelming at first since it’s hard to figure out how to make everything work. Would be better if they included a detailed tutorial.

Conclusion
Sound Monster Soundboard is a powerful and user-friendly software that simplifies the process of triggering sounds, making it an ideal tool for gamers, content creators, and anyone seeking to enhance their audio experiences. With its intuitive interface, versatile features, and the inclusion of pre-loaded sounds, Sound Monster Soundboard offers a convenient solution for managing and playing sounds across various applications and games. Whether you're looking to create immersive sound effects or streamline your audio interactions, Sound Monster Soundboard is worth considering for its functionality and ease of use. very hard to setup the audio. on my device you can either only use your microphone (the one that you use to talk) or just the soundboard. You can't use both at the same time. There is also very little help and resources online. App def has potential as it is easy to use (if it were to work).
trash do not buy
literalmente es el programa soundboard que buscaba, tiene lo que necesitaba y tiene (y lo que considero pros): -poner música extendida y sonidos -poder asignar sonidos o músicas al mismo botón con la opción de sonar al presionar 2 veces -el auto "push to talk" que me facilita la vida al jugar y trasmitir música en la partida (un ejemplo es en tf2 en el modo "vs saxton hale" al poner el tema del tank del l4d) -incluso en el pack de sonidos de inicio ya me ponen el sonido del "BRUH", solo faltaría el sonido del "metal pipe" u otros para que sea el paquete completo. Las únicas pegas o peros que solamente es personal pa mi y que para otros seria normal: -se requiere conseguir demás sonidos por nuestra cuenta (normal si sabes de donde sacarlos). -y no esta en español, aunque con el tutorial integrado igual te aclara sin mas. Aunque yo quiero sugerir algunas cosas por ejemplo: -agregar la función de hacer segmentos o categorías en el menú de sonidos, como hacer carpetas o algo. -agregar la función por separado de mutear el micrófono con un botón como la función asignable de de silenciar el mic al hacer sonar un sonido -hacer la función de dividir las asignaciones de sonidos, un ejemplo seria que en el botón 1 suene el "bruh" pero que al presionar un botón de grupo ese mismo botón 1 ahora suene otro sonido como por ejemplo el "metal pipe sound". -a y la funcion de asignar botones para subir o bajar el volumen transmitido. ^esto solo son unas sugerencias por lo que ando bien pero que con esto seria una mejora^ {si no entienden y/o quieren responder simplemente utilicen el traductor de google. / If you don't understand and/or want to answer, just use the google translator.}
Idk what's with all the negative reviews. It works perfectly for me and the quality stays the same for people listening. When I had an issue a few months ago, the support people responded within two hours and helped me get the app working again. Haven't had any issues since then. Part of the problem for some people might be the third-party app they'd have to use, although I'm not sure. You need to set up an audio processor separate from the app (I use VOICEMEETER) to get the app to actually function, otherwise the audio isn't processed properly. I prefer this software over some of the other alternatives on Steam.
App didn't even open. apparently I'm not the only one. don't waste your time or money.
