Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Soulsland: Last Fight

Dog Of War
While my friends were playing God of War: Ragnarok on the PS5, I was playing Soulsland: Last Fight on my PC. Why did I bring this up? Well, it’s because the main character of this game highly resembles Kratos for some reason. But yeah, I jumped into this game with no expectations and that’s the main reason I wasn’t disappointed. I already foresaw what this game would probably offer from just taking a glance at its Steam store page. I’ll explain why later on in this review.
About This Game

Storyline
At first, I thought this game had no storyline of any sort. But I was just blind since when you open the game every time, there’s a pop-up that gives a synopsis of the game’s plot. Well, I always closed it and never bothered to read it. Well, I just read it, and trust me, it’s nothing unique or interesting. Let me just type what that pop-up window tells us word for word:
New evil enemy army and 4 different bosses has captured souls again. So you are only brave hero Lord Barbarus who can destroy evil army and release souls. Souls are captured to gravestone. Every level you need kill boss to achieve captured souls hidden at gravestone.
Yes, that’s exactly how it is in the game. The broken English hurts. I understand that the devs’ native language isn’t English but they have several options like using a thesaurus or at least asking someone to proofread this. You know, I struggled to not autocorrect everything when typing that out. And yes, this is the only info we get related to the game’s plot.
Gameplay Mechanics
I am pretty sure the game was made on Unreal Engine. Forgive me if I am wrong. Why did I come to such a conclusion? Well, it’s because I recognized the kit they used for the combat system in this game. It’s the Flexible Combat System that can be found on the Unreal Marketplace. It is actually a paid asset but they recently gave it away during their monthly free assets ritual. So yeah, I might be wrong but I am pretty sure I am right since I did use the exact same asset when trying to make a project for college but ditched that concept and worked on something else. I just wanted to get this out of the way before jumping into the actual Gameplay Mechanics. I don’t have anything against devs using free assets and plugins but they don’t have to make their whole game revolve around these freebies with no additional personal effort from their end. The game doesn’t have a proper progression system in place. Due to this, you can play any level whenever you want. You legit have all levels unlocked. As of now, the game has 11 stages with the same enemies but slightly different bosses. Each level takes place in a different setting. I am pretty sure they just used pre-made environments since each level is optimized differently. I get 100 FPS in one level and barely 20 in the next. Now onto the combat mechanics. Well, as I mentioned above, they might have used the Flexible Combat System kit. As a result of this, the combat mechanics are decent. It’s still pretty basic. Your punches barely deal any damage. Literally, 2 damage per hit, and the enemies have over 200 health. Yes, you do have weapons. But due to the lack of a tutorial or settings of any kind where you can see the keybinds, I was not able to figure out how to use the weapons I picked up. It also has an inventory system which again, makes no sense due to the lack of a tutorial. You know, I discovered the inventory system by spamming all the keys trying to figure out how to equip the weapon I picked up. The AI is a bit weird too. They randomly get stuck in some places, don’t attack you sometimes, etc. Although they are releasing updates with new maps and stuff, the game requires a heavy rework. They should focus on making the game better instead of introducing new content. The UI sucks, controls are a hit-and-miss, no navigation, combat is underwhelming, AI is dry, etc. So yeah, they have to work a lot to make the game better for their players. I don’t understand why the positive reviews on this game mostly state that Soulsland stands as the best combination of Dark Souls and Elden Ring. In reality, this game is nowhere close to those masterpieces. Oh yeah, the worst thing about this game is that when you are in-game and hit the escape key cuz you want to pause the game for a bit, it immediately throws you back to the weird Main menu. They don’t have a pause screen omg.
Visuals and Sound
When you open the game, you directly get thrown into a messy screen. It is basically the main menu combined with the level-selection menu. What’s worse is that everything is arranged haphazardly. It really hurts my Ocd OMG. It’s like, they placed 3 levels, then settings & the exit button. After these, you see more levels placed in buttons that are smaller than the texts. It’s horrible. The overall graphics of the game are decent. I assume that they just used premade assets since the main character is obviously Kratos. The main back draw of this is that each asset has a different level of optimization meaning that your frame rate highly depends on the assets used in that level. As I mentioned above, some levels give you better performance while your rig struggles to maintain a stable 30 FPS in others. Regarding the aural aspect of the game, it’s okay since they actually went through the trouble to include some background music.
Pros

Decent combat mechanics.
There is a good collection of levels to play.

Cons

Poorly optimized.
The UI is horrible.
Combat is underwhelming.
Feels repetitive.
No tutorials nor navigation of any sort.
No pause menu.

Conclusion
The game does have a lot of potential. As mentioned before, they should focus on making the game better instead of introducing new content. As of right now, I wouldn’t recommend this game. Yeah yeah, the game is cheap and all, so, if you do have a bit of money to spare, then I won’t stop you. Reviewer: Midplayz Boy….where’s boy???
Trash game ?!
This game is totally botched ! I had a challenge to do it after winning a giveaway and I must say that the game had the merit of making me laugh ! Haha But honestly I wonder how some people can release this kind of game... It just seems like a test with some assets from everywhere, just to understand how computer graphics works and btw, some make no sense in the atmosphere and world of the game/level haha It's crazy 🤣 We won't say anything about the number of positive reviews, which are clearly trolls... Just read them 😂 Each level brings you into a new "world", that's already it I must say, but with the same enemies and bosses that repeat between levels : only 4 different bosses for 11 levels, that's too low in my opinion. Many hitbox problems, including rocks that are not fully materialized... Frozen enemies, like certain bosses on a few levels ! The fact that you can pass their encounters by jumping on the grids and falling on the soul pillars (which ends your level instantly). https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3150625383 We're not going to talk about certain bosses who stay frozen if you just hit them constantly... It will be a joke right ?! 👀 To understand what the game is, you only have these things to know about it : Take a weapon and potions from the ground, run to the boss, face him (or even if possible, jump over the cages to collect directly the soul) and start the same thing again on to the next level... You will have completed the entire game in 2 hours, ggs. 👏 Honestly I don't recommend this game at all ! Knowing that there have been no updates since December 2022, expect absolutely nothing from this trash.
🏆 For the Achievements 🏆
As said before, take a weapon and potions, run to the Boss (some times he can be a little hidden in the scenery), confront him and collect the light which represents the soul to recover for each level. By doing this you will get 22/25 achievements ! While playing, you'll just have to look everywhere to find a "big" golden skull in 3 levels : Desert, Tropic Village & Dark Dungeon. ~2h/3h to 100%

-> killed the enemy -> he didn't even realize it Conclusion: I'm too good for this game or the opponents are very stupid
Warning: Asset Flip! Soulsland: Last Fight is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unreal Marketplace assets, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of Unreal marketplace assets and combined them with a basic third person "action RPG" brawler blueprint... nothing in here is truly the creation of the developer, who continues to breach copyright and steal and plagiarise the work of real asset creators. It has no value or merit as a real game. Tero Lunkka/Valkeala Software have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Lawnmower Game: Pinball" = Pinball Construction Kit developed by Epic Games
"Nash Racing 2" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
"Nash Racing" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
"Survival Isolation" = Easy Survival RPG developed by Easy Systems
"The Warrior Of Treasures" = Dynamic Combat System developed by Grzegorz Szewczyk
"Thirsty Bubble" = Low Poly Scenario Pack+POLYGON Knights Pack+Simple Dungeons developed by
"Office Racer" = Polygon Office developed by Synty Studios
"Lost Princess: Winterland" = Polygon Vikings Pack developed by Synty Games
"Cyborg Invasion Shooter" = Third Person Shooter Kit developed by Epic Games
"Candy Puzzle" = Platformer 3 - Chocolate developed by ithappy
"Candy Renovation" = Renovation Simulator developed by Manudog
"Aliens Dont Exist" = Alien Character - Free Sprite developed by Craftpix
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. The game assets that Tero has stolen are terrible and the way he combined them to try to make a game is hamfisted, resulting in an unplayable mess. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk.
Warning: Review Manipulation! This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Due to the 2024 FTC ruling (16 CFR Part 465), these fake reviews are a violation of US Federal Law.
This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. So, should you buy this asset flip? Is this better than any of the 100,000+ genuinely made games on Steam? Of course not! Soulsland: Last Fight has the farcical price of around $1 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
We need more bosses. It was a great experience even though I've died more than 20 times.
