Asset flip. This is as much developed as I develop on the John. Standard assets put in eight maps, most are empty, in a third person action template. For the last seven years this person has published a game every ~2 weeks, all of them asset flips. Everything can be trashed.
Very smooth gameplay, lots of levels and good controls
Soulsland 3: Spider Invasion, developed by Tero Lunkka in collaboration with Valkeala Software, is a straightforward indie action-adventure that leans heavily on a simple loop of exploration and combat. Set in a fantasy world threatened by a monstrous spider and its growing army, the game places players in the role of a warrior tasked with restoring order by clearing levels, defeating enemies, and ultimately confronting the source of the invasion. It’s a premise that feels familiar and direct, prioritizing accessibility over complexity. The gameplay is built around progressing through a series of self-contained levels, each with a clear objective: locate the boss, defeat it, and move on. Along the way, players engage in basic hack-and-slash combat, using melee weapons to deal with enemies scattered throughout each area. The controls are functional and easy to grasp, allowing players to jump in quickly without needing to learn intricate systems. However, the simplicity of the mechanics also means that combat lacks depth. Enemy behavior is predictable, and encounters rarely require more than straightforward attacks and basic positioning, which can make battles feel repetitive over time. Each level introduces a different environment, such as villages, deserts, or castle-like areas, providing some visual variety and helping to maintain a sense of progression. While these settings offer a change in scenery, they do not significantly alter how the game is played. The overall structure remains consistent from start to finish, with exploration leading into combat and culminating in a boss encounter. These boss fights serve as the main highlights, requiring slightly more attention to timing and movement, but they still rely on the same underlying mechanics, which limits their impact after repeated encounters. Visually, the game reflects its indie origins with a presentation that is functional but uneven. The environments are recognizable and occasionally atmospheric, but they often lack detail and polish. Character animations can feel stiff, and technical limitations are noticeable in certain areas, which can break immersion. Despite this, the game maintains a certain charm through its straightforward design, and its simplicity can be appealing to players who are not concerned with high production values. One of the more noticeable challenges with Soulsland 3: Spider Invasion is its lack of refinement. Controls can feel slightly unpolished, and the absence of detailed tutorials or guidance may leave some players unsure of how to approach certain situations. These issues highlight the game’s limited scope and development resources, making it clear that it is a modest project rather than a fully polished production. While this may be acceptable for players familiar with indie titles, it can still impact the overall experience. In terms of replayability, the game offers little beyond its initial playthrough. The core loop remains unchanged, and there are no significant systems such as character progression or skill customization to encourage experimentation. Once players have completed the levels and defeated the bosses, there is little incentive to return beyond personal interest in repeating the experience. Ultimately, Soulsland 3: Spider Invasion is a focused and uncomplicated action game that delivers a basic but functional experience. It succeeds in providing a clear objective and accessible gameplay, making it suitable for short sessions or players looking for something straightforward. However, its lack of depth, repetitive structure, and technical roughness prevent it from standing out in a crowded genre. It is a modest offering that may appeal to a niche audience but is unlikely to leave a strong or lasting impression. Rating: 6/10
I kill spider bosses only together with Lord Barbarus! Watch out for little spiders and vicious grumblers!
It may seem a little monotonous, but I think it's worth the money. For the courageous image, special thanks. I am the God of War.
чем то персонаж на кратоса похож, есть боёвки не плохие, локаций много, графика сойдет, забавляет механика прыжка
Not a bad sandbox where you play as Kratos and cut spiders. Nothing special happens in principle, the plot is mediocre and does not particularly affect the gameplay component of the game. It'll do for a couple of hours
