Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Sep 11 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Soulbound is a pixel-art action-MMO where every dungeon run reshapes your build. Charge into roguelite dungeons with friends in 3-player co-op, chain devastating ability combos from 100+ combinations, and return to a living open world where you farm, craft, and uncover a mystery that runs deeper than any dungeon floor.
Soulbound splits its world in two: a shared overworld full of quests and adventure, and brutal instanced dungeons that never play the same way twice. Every floor reshuffles encounters, hazards, and loot and every room unlocks new relics that warp your abilities in ways you didn't plan for. This is a one of a kind MMO-meets-roguelite hybrid that fuses our favourite meta progression systems with the chaos of survivor-like combat.
Enter the dungeon and pick from 10+ abilities that create unique class builds with branching relic paths. Stack a chain-lightning relic on your mage's Pyrosphere and watch mobs evaporate. Layer life-steal onto a berserker's hammer and turn your AoE into a heal for your party. Every relic run offers new synergies you've never tried, and the best builds are the ones nobody planned.
As you swap your gear, you swap your class instantly. Tank for your friends on Monday, rain bullets on Thursday, your character is every class you want it to be, whenever you want it to be.
Step out of the dungeon and the pace shifts. Soulbound's open world is a shared space where thousands of players farm, gather, trade, and quest side by side. Tend your crops, fish a quiet river or stumble into a quest line that unlocks an ability you didn't know existed. The overworld is where you discover the skills and upgrades that make your next dungeon run deadly.
Every life skill feeds back into your progression with cooking restoring stamina, gathering unlocking crafting materials for gear and buffs and mining unlocking crafting stations to build the weapons that defines your class.
Gear in Soulbound does two things: makes you powerful and makes you you. Separate cosmetic slots mean your stats never dictate your style as you collect handmade, uniquely animated pixel-art armor sets, rare cosmetic drops, and companion pets. Mix and match freely and make your character look exactly how you want.
Every player gets their own base, and it's where your meta progression lives. Inside it, you construct and upgrade stations that unlock new gear tiers, potions that tip dungeon runs in your favor, and meals that push your stamina further. Decorate every room with furniture, trophies, and a full room-layout editor. Invite your friends and start building your guild base.
You awaken inside a digital universe that feels alive… but hostile. Early in your journey, you encounter The Anima, enigmatic and malevolent entities that overwhelm you with impossible force. Death isn’t the end, however. You’re recovered by a robotic rescuer and brought to your Virelda, a safe haven, workshop, and base of operations. As a Pioneer, you’ve got a lot to do before you can stand against The Anima.

An incredible game; I’ve been waiting for something like this for years. It’s a combination of *Survivors*, *RuneScape*, and *Risk of Rain*—all in an MMO that you can play in co-op. I’m really excited to see what the developers do with it next. Highly recommended for veteran gamers who remember the good old games from back in the day.

so i cant speak for the crypto scam nonsense, cause after looking into it i barely found much info and honestly, ive paid way more for bigger games that were clearly cash grabs and screwed by large companies. That being said, did it have launch day issues, yes. Do people seem to forget what early access is, yes. Honestly what modern online game doesn't have launch day issues. after seeing the issues i put it away and came back to it the next day, after 3 hours what i found was a really enjoyable game. has a little of everything i absolutely love.... farming, crafting, decorating and rogue/ survivor-like dungeons. its like a small taste of stardew meets vampire survivor. it does have its small bugs from time to time and i have hope those will get ironed out, especially with how quickly they jump on the server lag issues.. but i truly am excited for the future of this one
takes too much time for simple tasks, at least make it so you have to do a dungeon run for your crops to grow instead of making it clash of clans timers lol.
Game honestly is genuinely cool reviews are from a niche community offended they pivoted to not being an NFT game anymore... lol enough said there. And its an indie MMO so server issues make sense on launch day but hopefully they are fixed ASAP or else I'll probably edit my review to negative. They have said they are working on it now so going to keep it positive for now as the art style, and mechanics so far seem pretty cool.
Also eigentlich sollte man das.
Nearly all negative reviews thus far are part of a targeted hate campaign.
The servers are laggy on day one of an MMO. If you've played any new release multiplayer game in your life, it's a given. The lag has already abated and the game is silky smooth now. I'm UK playing on USA overworld servers and my ping is perfect. When you go into dungeons it's a server selected at the best region for you or between all players involved. It's literally not a thing anymore already in less than a day, so before anything else, take that into consideration when you look at these other reviews, they soiled their britches because they couldn't wait twelve hours. As for the "2 hour refund scam". Do you eat lead paint chips? Don't stay on the game if the servers or laggy. There's a discord. Check later on in the day. Don't sit there slack jawed breathing hard at your monitor. Ride a bike or something idk I'm not your dad. As for the history of the developers and such, I can't personally attest to that but it seems like the grand majority of anyone who's anyone was trying their luck at crypto/NFTs for the brief period anyone cared. That was the past, this is the present. The only update post launch we have for this game is that monetization is PURELY COSMETIC. There is no avenue for any of this previous behaviour and if they suddenly turn around on this, fair enough, I'll eat my own hat. But freaking out like a child over a game that is currently £11.68 as if it's going to ruin your life and finances is jobless behaviour. Maybe get a job and spend less time worrying about the history of a little pixel game and losing £11.68 on what MAY be a scam with no proven evidence of being so will become less of a life or death situation for you. As for the game itself, it's sort of any generic survival game, runescape and a few different roguelites mashed together. Lots of overworld travel, questing, story, skilling. Mining, fishing, herbing, crafting, player houses where you set up crafting tables to make new equipment, provision, furniture, mounts and other toys. The story thus far (I played about 20 hours of the demo + this review) is not incredibly complicated but fun enough to follow. Written by human beings than generic AI dialogue for sure, the game is very cheeky when it wants to be. Dungeons are definitely where this game shines, you have a main weapon then an "artifact". An artifact is just like, extra abilities. A minigun, casting a fireball, throwing kunai on chains. You can power them up in the overworld to heighten your damage scaling and when you run dungeons in a group of 1-3 people (yes there is matchmaking too if you have no friends like some of the negative reviewers) you get to add mutators to all these tools you have in your arsenal. Example being like, minigun becomes two miniguns. Bombs become cluster bombs. Fireball becomes a blackhole with pull in etc. Nothing you haven't seen before but polished and dopamine heavy combined with an actual MMO gear treadmill and progression. Honestly everything else is fantastic too. Not going to write war and peace about it but the graphics are like a much prettier spacebound and stardew valley baby. Grungier and cyberpunk-esque in a lot of places, star warsy in others. It has that mix of primitive and hyper futuristic themes. The armour and weapons look rad and feel amazing, which is the most important to me in these kind of games. Everything has cool cloaks, helmets, masks, visors, big giant detailed terraria looking weapons. You can also play a caster if you prefer over a swordsman/hammer type guy which is a welcome change of pace. A lot of QoL even MMO giants don't really have, super in depth UI customization for OCD freaks like me. Global and all various chat channels you need which are very busy and a discord with INCREDIBLY helpful people. Their support time is second to none, I had issues with my username and they fixed it within like 20 minutes. Genuinely good and invested guys working on this. Try it now. If you try it and it's suddenly what all these negative reviews are saying it is, you can come rag on me here, but I think you'll be hard pressed to find any of what they say is happening. Main complaint? Customization of your base character. Can't choose anything but skin color, eyes, hair color and everything else is attached to what armour you're wearing. Hair is just armour. I hate that but I'll just live with looking cool in a helmet.
I saw the negative reviews regarding the developers history and read the reddit post, but I decided to try the game anyway. Honestly, it’s a ton of fun with plenty of content, great replayability, and huge potential. The best feature? An actual pause button in an MMO, a game-changer for playing during work hours. While there are some bugs and lag spikes, they are manageable, and I trust they’ll be patched soon. More importantly, I haven't encountered any microtransactions or crypto fluff in 7hrs of playing. For such a cheap price, don't let the review bombing keep you from enjoying a genuinely good game.
I expected performance issues of an indie day 1 launch thats very normal. When i got to play there was a decent amount of rubber banding. at one point everyone lost ALL of their equipment and housing items. That was fixed with a patch. Now my character has been stuck forever loading. I have submitted a ticket in their discord but there has been no response, not even a we are working on it. It's been 6+ hours at this point. Each update seems to break a few things as well
fun game with friends, rpg questing and crafting / gathering / upgrading elements with roguelite autocast combat. its the price of a McDonalds meal
