Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Sep 11 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Soulbound is a pixel-art action-MMO where every dungeon run reshapes your build. Charge into roguelite dungeons with friends in 3-player co-op, chain devastating ability combos from 100+ combinations, and return to a living open world where you farm, craft, and uncover a mystery that runs deeper than any dungeon floor.
Soulbound splits its world in two: a shared overworld full of quests and adventure, and brutal instanced dungeons that never play the same way twice. Every floor reshuffles encounters, hazards, and loot and every room unlocks new relics that warp your abilities in ways you didn't plan for. This is a one of a kind MMO-meets-roguelite hybrid that fuses our favourite meta progression systems with the chaos of survivor-like combat.
Enter the dungeon and pick from 10+ abilities that create unique class builds with branching relic paths. Stack a chain-lightning relic on your mage's Pyrosphere and watch mobs evaporate. Layer life-steal onto a berserker's hammer and turn your AoE into a heal for your party. Every relic run offers new synergies you've never tried, and the best builds are the ones nobody planned.
As you swap your gear, you swap your class instantly. Tank for your friends on Monday, rain bullets on Thursday, your character is every class you want it to be, whenever you want it to be.
Step out of the dungeon and the pace shifts. Soulbound's open world is a shared space where thousands of players farm, gather, trade, and quest side by side. Tend your crops, fish a quiet river or stumble into a quest line that unlocks an ability you didn't know existed. The overworld is where you discover the skills and upgrades that make your next dungeon run deadly.
Every life skill feeds back into your progression with cooking restoring stamina, gathering unlocking crafting materials for gear and buffs and mining unlocking crafting stations to build the weapons that defines your class.
Gear in Soulbound does two things: makes you powerful and makes you you. Separate cosmetic slots mean your stats never dictate your style as you collect handmade, uniquely animated pixel-art armor sets, rare cosmetic drops, and companion pets. Mix and match freely and make your character look exactly how you want.
Every player gets their own base, and it's where your meta progression lives. Inside it, you construct and upgrade stations that unlock new gear tiers, potions that tip dungeon runs in your favor, and meals that push your stamina further. Decorate every room with furniture, trophies, and a full room-layout editor. Invite your friends and start building your guild base.
You awaken inside a digital universe that feels alive… but hostile. Early in your journey, you encounter The Anima, enigmatic and malevolent entities that overwhelm you with impossible force. Death isn’t the end, however. You’re recovered by a robotic rescuer and brought to your Virelda, a safe haven, workshop, and base of operations. As a Pioneer, you’ve got a lot to do before you can stand against The Anima.

With over 100k wishlisted and didn't plan for more than 1000 people? refunded, smells fishy. Stay away. * I'm updating my review. At this point the servers are working and I have not experienced any lag or bugs that are breaking gameplay. That being said, I think the developers are going to be their own worst any enemy. To not plan for 1% of your wishlist is either greedy or incompetence. I re-bought the game because it is fun. The company also has a shady past. Still do not recommend. I am an idiot.
did not expect irl wait times... especially not ones that long. not a fan of that at all. Big thing for me is that it also needs much better controller support. Would be a bit of fun on steamdeck if i wasn't having to use my right stick as a mouse to interact with dialogue and menus. lots of potential, just hope the devs aren't committed to keeping the crazy wait times. I see the roadmap contains better controller support in Q3 an 4, so will update my review when things are better

Writing this review while still in early access and having played the demo. All the talk about nft/crypto is from the past issue the game had with another investor and the people who fell for that whole craze and lost money. It happens. That being said, this game has none of that and they’re actually able to redo the game how it was intended. Those who can actually critically think and like roguelite survivor gameplay with a bit of cozy sim mixed in, then this game is for you. The small team of devs are very active on discord and fix a lot of issues very fast. The server queue issue was resolved within hours of launch and they’re fixing any bugs that pop up. I recommend giving the game a chance and having some fun. If you’re on the fence, check out the roadmap and see if any of the changes that are planned spark your interest. Also side note, they have said that after early access they do plan a wipe of everything. So take that into consideration as well. You can have fun and see how the game is now or wait until full release, with a possibility of a price increase later.
Given this game’s troubled history, I can’t excuse what happened, but I also wasn’t there and can’t pretend to know the full story. What I do know is that most projects in this situation simply die. This team didn’t. And honestly, they’ve made something worth playing. The game still needs polish, but it’s surprisingly unique and genuinely addictive. In a genre flooded with copy-paste MMOs, it’s refreshing to see something actually different. The graphics are great, gear actually changes your character’s appearance, there’s a solid amount of skill variety, and there’s already plenty of content to mess with. For the price, there’s more than enough here to justify giving it a shot. It’s not perfect, and there are plenty of rough edges, but the mixed rating feels harsher than the game deserves. The foundation is good, the concept is unique, and the fact that the developers are still pushing forward matters. If you’re looking for an MMO that isn’t the same recycled garbage, give it a shot.
aside from the general jankiness, the servers are just too laggy. maybe this makes sense somehow later on, but all that mobile game stamina and time gate systems are an instant turnoff.
AI coded slop
Man I really like this game, but the wipe announcements killed any motivation I had for playing this. I can look past the bugs given it's early access. However the ridiculous crafting and upgrading times, the arbitrary energy system, how long it takes to level up some of the skills and still thinking wiping everyone's progress with 1.0 is a good idea is just beyond me. Don't play this game until it hits 1.0, if it hits 1.0.
The game was perfectly fine till today, when they rolled in a patch that no one asked for and made crafting/mining/gathering/smithing/grinding utterly pointless. Big middle finger to everyone who played till now; literal weeks down the drain. Instead of making dungeon runs worthwhile, they made everything else just as pointless. Idk what they've been thinking; who in their sane mind thought this was a good idea? I can live with bugs and glitches and instability - that's expected from EA. But turning the entire core gameplay loop into a pointless waste of time on a whim? Yeah, nah. Thx. I'll come back in a couple of weeks to see if anything improved or when they're gonna rollback this idiotic update.
waiting in a 2hr que to play a game that had 100k+ wishlists because the servers can handle 2000 people is ridiculous. then when you finally get in the games lag is so bad it just doest respond. what a scam.
I wish I could recommend this game. Unfortunately I'm softlocked by an NPC that suddenly disappeared and never returned due to server lag. Reconnecting, restarting the game and reentering the area did not help. The game itself is fun even though I'm not a fan of the weird energy system which serves no purpose other than to annoy the players. TL:DR. Game is always online and is currently buggy and laggy. Wouldn't recommend. Consider it when it's further along in development and they have fixed the servers or on sale.
