Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Sep 11 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Soulbound is a pixel-art action-MMO where every dungeon run reshapes your build. Charge into roguelite dungeons with friends in 3-player co-op, chain devastating ability combos from 100+ combinations, and return to a living open world where you farm, craft, and uncover a mystery that runs deeper than any dungeon floor.
Soulbound splits its world in two: a shared overworld full of quests and adventure, and brutal instanced dungeons that never play the same way twice. Every floor reshuffles encounters, hazards, and loot and every room unlocks new relics that warp your abilities in ways you didn't plan for. This is a one of a kind MMO-meets-roguelite hybrid that fuses our favourite meta progression systems with the chaos of survivor-like combat.
Enter the dungeon and pick from 10+ abilities that create unique class builds with branching relic paths. Stack a chain-lightning relic on your mage's Pyrosphere and watch mobs evaporate. Layer life-steal onto a berserker's hammer and turn your AoE into a heal for your party. Every relic run offers new synergies you've never tried, and the best builds are the ones nobody planned.
As you swap your gear, you swap your class instantly. Tank for your friends on Monday, rain bullets on Thursday, your character is every class you want it to be, whenever you want it to be.
Step out of the dungeon and the pace shifts. Soulbound's open world is a shared space where thousands of players farm, gather, trade, and quest side by side. Tend your crops, fish a quiet river or stumble into a quest line that unlocks an ability you didn't know existed. The overworld is where you discover the skills and upgrades that make your next dungeon run deadly.
Every life skill feeds back into your progression with cooking restoring stamina, gathering unlocking crafting materials for gear and buffs and mining unlocking crafting stations to build the weapons that defines your class.
Gear in Soulbound does two things: makes you powerful and makes you you. Separate cosmetic slots mean your stats never dictate your style as you collect handmade, uniquely animated pixel-art armor sets, rare cosmetic drops, and companion pets. Mix and match freely and make your character look exactly how you want.
Every player gets their own base, and it's where your meta progression lives. Inside it, you construct and upgrade stations that unlock new gear tiers, potions that tip dungeon runs in your favor, and meals that push your stamina further. Decorate every room with furniture, trophies, and a full room-layout editor. Invite your friends and start building your guild base.
You awaken inside a digital universe that feels alive… but hostile. Early in your journey, you encounter The Anima, enigmatic and malevolent entities that overwhelm you with impossible force. Death isn’t the end, however. You’re recovered by a robotic rescuer and brought to your Virelda, a safe haven, workshop, and base of operations. As a Pioneer, you’ve got a lot to do before you can stand against The Anima.

I don’t normally write Steam reviews, but I wanted to support the game in whatever small way I could by sharing my experience, because I’ve genuinely been enjoying it so much so far. I’ve only played a few hours, but I’m having a great time. The pixel art looks fantastic, the world feels alive, and the gameplay is a fun blend of ideas from different games. The biggest draw for me is the progression. As a longtime RuneScape player, I love working toward small goals—leveling skills to unlock better tools, gear, and crafting options. Soulbound captures that same satisfying progression loop without feeling overly complicated. The dungeons are fun and offer a different take on MMO gameplay, and the quests have been more engaging than the usual “go kill 10 monsters” style. They have a bit more variety while still being easy to follow. I also want to address the biggest criticisms. Many negative reviews came from launch day when the servers were overloaded. I played on day one, and while there were issues, the developers responded quickly by adding servers and fixing problems. By day two, my experience was smooth. I’ve also seen claims that the game is a “crypto scam.” From what I’ve seen, the developers have been transparent about the game’s history. They took a project that didn’t succeed in the crypto space and rebuilt it into a traditional Steam game. That doesn’t bother me, especially if the end result is a fun game. Overall, I’m really enjoying Soulbound so far. It’s reasonably priced, the gameplay is fun, and I’m excited to see how it grows with the roadmap the developers have shared.
They worked out the lag. The game is just amazing.
Servers unplayable. Will not accept inputs for 30 seconds before deciding a random one over that period to execute before stopping again.
The game is fun if not slightly addictive. If you like crafting/farming sims and survivor like games. This is a combination of those two things. Believe it or not, the game sort of reminds me of stardew valley in a way, but without the relationships. That’s probably not a comparison most people are going to make. But, I smash rocks. Pull up plants. Farm vegetables. Manage stamina. Interact with townsfolk. And go into dungeons to gather resources. All in a pixel art game. So, nothing like stardew valley at all, but it oddly reminds me of it all the same. (Shrug) At the time of this writing I am 12 and a half hours in, and I am still discovering new things. For a game I spent ~$13 (bought on sale during release discount). This means I have already gotten an hour of gameplay per dollar, and I am likely to get many more hours. That said, the game is slightly repetitive. So far, smashing rocks, pulling up plants. Farming. Managing stamina. Interacting with townsfolk. Gather resources in dungeons. Is basically what there is to do in the game. Also crafting I guess. But despite the repetitive nature, it has continued to feel rewarding because I am still currently “progressing” so I get that continued dopamine hit from that progression. After 12+ hours of gameplay. And based on where I and what I see. I can easily see doubling that gameplay time before hitting any sort of end to that progression in the games current state. So I am enjoying it.
Played many hours into the Demo, While it does feel a little unpolished in EA and certainly with its flaws the team is actively pushing updates, fixes and maintenance since release ironing everything out. Would highly recommend playing with some friends for some funny moments and cheesing (We've had many giggles stacking healing, shields and buffs to just afk nuke waves of enemies) but even as a solo player you're guaranteed to enjoy it if this is your sort of game especially with all the quests and solid matchmaking system if you do want to play with others. With the roadmap given to us it really is promising on upcoming future updates and patches and I know our large group cannot wait for those to roll out down the line. Ignore all the typical womp womp crypto snowflake bros crying, Reddit drama and experience Soulbound for yourself rather than the typical sheep - Overlook the MS issues that are actively being fixed and I do promise you'll enjoy the game thoroughly! While the shady background of the games origination is questionable the game in its state now and everything to come to us is far beyond promising. Big Bonk, Numbers go up... Great dopamine release! [Edit]: Add romance to the game! We wanna smooch our homies!
I really enjoyed the game, however they plan on wiping all early access servers. I would advise to just wait until the full launch. That way you are not paying for a game that will reset your progress.
