Sonic Origins

HIGHLY recommend. It has Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles, and CD with the classic mode (original version) and 'Anniversary Mode' which puts the game in a 16:9 aspect ratio, gets rid of lives, and you can use coins by replaying special stages, which makes the game feel a lot more fair! Plus missions and collectibles which makes the game have a ton of re-playability. Good game.

I've revisited Sonic Origins plenty of times after my [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/howlikefresh/recommended/1794960/]original review[/url] on my old account and since then, I've genuinely warmed up to this compilation. Now do I think it's worth the price? No. Wait for a sale and get Origins Plus. That way you're getting, what I think, is the definitive original Sonic experience on the Mega Drive. I also highly recommend [url=https://gamebanana.com/sounds/download/61731#FileInfo_1115325]this mod for Sonic 3 & Knuckles specifically[/url] to get rid of the muffled audio. I really hoped the Origins Plus DLC would fix this but unfortunately, the S3K music is still muffled. You can also pick your poison and choose to download the original soundtrack from 1994 if you're into that. These days, I'd recommend Sonic Origins.

While 30 dollars for 4 classic masterpieces seems reasonable, I recommend to just buy this collection when it goes on sale. There is nothing really offensive if you are a regular sonic fan who isn't too obsessed with the franchise, but this collection is kinda eh? Now granted, you will get through the whole thing thanks to anniversary mode and its coins systems if you used to struggle previously with beating the game and getting the good endings or getting super/hyper sonic, this is probably the only positive I cant disagree with. however anything else is just not worth it. Mission mode is a neat idea but is just baby levels when compared to the generations' challenge acts or unleashed's DLC stages, it could have been greatly expanded upon but its just do this simple task for some coins. And then there is the museum but like I have already seen most of this before so whats the point, there is also the sonic 3 music changes and I have to wonder why didn't they go with the prototype versions since those sound way better and also would have been genuine extra love. Overall so many things could have been done with origins, as it stands, its just a 5/10 collection. Like I said, not offensive but also not worth it. If you are here to just play the classics then there are better places for that otherwise wait until it goes for 10 bucks.

yes these games are amazing, and yes this is a decent collection but in no world should this ever be thirty to fifty dollars.

If you like older sonic games and want them all in one place with cool new mechanic and if the game is on discount would recommend buying. Otherwise don't waste your money

[h1] Не рыба, не мясо [/h1] Что же, смотря по игре спустя время и патчей она стала чуть лучше, и больше нет таких уж критичных багов. Не знаю как по мне, [b] ОЧЕНЬ [/b] дорого за такой сборник(не считая дополнения с Эми и встроенным эмулятором), по звуку будто разрушения не так как было в мобильном порте или в оригинале. Перейду к Особым Этапам и о боже, ужас, в обновленной графике не сделали более лучше рендер, что если ты сидишь близко к монитору, то тебе будет выжигать глаза от такого(От примера уходить далеко даже не надо, Sonic CD). По оптимизации будто печально, вроде бы игры на RSDK(Движок который ой как тянет даже на слабом пк), но вот будто фризит в некоторых местах. В Mystic Cave хитбоксы поднимающейся фигни будто если тронул её не так как Юдзи хочет, то ожидай смерть) Также в главном меню будто та же ситуация когда вроде бы сборник идет с моими требованиями, а может проседать до 30 фпс. Как сборник, пойдет, но смотря на техническую часть немного хромает она, все же косяки многие подправили после релиза, но смотря на цену и на то что мы платим за мобильные порты(кроме третьего), нууууу ладно.
