Just finished the entire game in one sitting (with mods i.e mech physic improvments, Dreamcast costumes, cutscene re-editing and instant spin dash) and I gotta say this is really one of the better Sonic games. Security Hall just kinda sucks and most of the ARK stages bring this game down a bit for me but Sonic & Shadow's levels are extremely fun (minus the ARK levels) and it is extremely satisfying to fully pull off a successful run. 9/10 no notes

Horrible inaccurate controls and camera, along with random severe physics jank, and some poor level design decisions made this absolute misery to play, dragging the game down. Which is a shame as everything else is good. After finally beating this for the first time, I can see why Shadow stuck around in further series entries, as he has a pretty decent backstory, and this is coming from someone who isn't even that into the series, but I can't recommend the game because of the issues mentioned above.

It's a game with a great story, great characters and fun levels. To me Shadow is one of video game's best characters.
