Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Some of You May Die is a strategic autobattler where you assemble a team of heroes and upgrade them to absurd levels of power. Test your skill against other players in Online PvP!
Breaking the game IS the game. Stack upgrades and heroes to level them up. Invest gold in customizing your heroes with full control over their stat sheet.
Want a high armor priest who reflects incoming damage? You can do that.
How about an assassin with lightning fast movement speed who skips your opponents defensive line entirely? Yup.
No two heroes are the same! Every time you are offered a hero, they come with a different combination of Boosted Stats and an Ability that give them a unique edge. These combinations create a huge amount of variety. After choosing a hero, you are offered dozens of highly synergistic upgrades to push the customization even farther. This empowers you to create ultra-powerful teams that feel completely unstoppable - until your opponent reaches for the perfect counter.
Realtime & Async Multiplayer: Face other players and put your strategies to the test. Matches are full of clever counters so it's never to late to stage a come-back! You can choose between Realtime Multiplayer or Asynchronous Multiplayer so you never have to wait for matches.
A Constantly Shifting Meta-Game: Each match has a different pool of upgrades a randomized squad of heroes to pick from. This keeps the meta-strategy fresh every time you play!
Deep Customization: Each hero comes with 2 Boosted Stats (like health, attack speed, or range) and an ability. Boosted Stats start higher and upgrade faster than a non-boosted stat. This means that each hero offered in the shop has unique potential and some can be upgraded to absurd levels of power.
Become Overpowered: Stack heroes of the same kind from the shop to level them up. Leveled heroes get a significant boost to their stats, making each level a meaningful step up. Invest heavily in one or two powerful heroes or go wide and flood the battlefield to outnumber your foes! The choice is yours.
Stack your Upgrades: Level up your heroes' upgrades too! Upgrades offer a high variety of customization. Some add effects to your heroes' attacks like Poison or Stun. Some trigger actions on events like "on death" or "on kill". Leveled upgrades become significantly more powerful which leads to highly strategic and specialized builds.
Matches are tactical, full of wild synergies, and will have you on the edge of your seat right up to the end!

Honestly i wish there was a Meh button, i do think it was very overpriced for launch, it was fun for a bit but it gets so hard so quickly, it took me almost 3 hours to complete the first standard Round and i beat it by basically maxing out the attack speed on the archer, i do think the difficulty is to high, ill keep playing for atleast 20 hours and ill put any bad or good things here in my review
OK wow, I'm kinda overwhelmed at all the combos and upgrades. It'll take a long time to figure out interesting builds. The game is extremely deep and one hour in I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. But it's been really, really fun so far.

There is A Lot of criticism about the game and the price. The game has a learning curve, but an hour or 2 in you have it all figured out. At 13 hours I have pretty much beaten all the modes and all the difficulties and I don't consider myself a very "good gamer". It was worth the $10. There are some minor annoyances, like I would love the ability to link the alchemist buff to a specific unit, but other than little things here and there like that it's a decent game.
I got insanely addicted to the demo, and I'm happy to say the full game seems to be even better. Can't wait to get destroyed in multiplayer.
No point unlocking anything, first set is the only usable one.
Somehow the demo was more polished than the full release. You can just luck into certain upgrades that make your characters invulnerable permanently, even in pvp.
its been a lot of fun and I still suck at it. I think that I have some strat worked out and then some other guy comes in and smokes me with some random combo line up that I havent considered.... back to the drawing board. Buy it with your money.
Not enough content for this money. only a hand full of heroes. To expansive for this content. There are plenty of autobattlers for free with much more content and possibilitys. Sad because the game seems nice.
Pretty good so far, units are unique and we need more roguelike autobattlers, the music and such could loop better, but all of that can be improved.
