this game is really cool i like the story very cool!
Soma is truly a pinnacle of psychological horror. I have not played many horror games, with the only one being Resident Evil 8. After playing both, I am dissapointed at the lack of popularity for this game when compared to the critically acclaimed RE8. Soma is able to make engaging puzzles, with a solid amount of variety without making anything feel impractical or unrealistic. Every action done to progress your way through Pathos-II makes it feel like a true lived-in base, something that could exist in real life. The horror aspect is also amazing. Instead of some run and gun, occasional jumpscare like Resident Evil, Soma heavily relies on environmental storytelling and stealth. You cannot fight the creatures and that is what makes it great. The creatures are placed around the areas perfectly, allowing for suspense to build gradually, with no cliche sequences that games like Resident Evil enjoy. It leaves you alone with something that may or may not be there, and that's terrifying. The story is absolutely amazing, without spoilers, it heavily rewards people who walk around and taking in details, and exploring the many areas that aren't directly needed for the story. It is fun to figure all out, and accompanying the lore discoveries in logs, notes, and blackbox scans helps you piece together what is happening in the environment as well. This game runs great, I played this on a laptop with integrated Intel graphics, so no GPU. 16gb DDR5 and an intel Ultra 7. No stuttering, ran perfectly on medium settings. All in all, one of my favorite games of all time. Everything good about horror, made me scared, and had me enjoy it regardless.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

frictional i love you
Replaying it again and I forgot how much of a masterpiece this game is.
I am a person who hates horror games, I get basically paralyzed when there's an enemy or danger. Adding safe mode as an option was a genius move cos I can finally try out this amazing game and actually be able to move through it. Safe mode hasn't taken away any enjoyment in my opinion, the atmosphere and sounds are still creepy enough and the enemies are still super scary but now I can actually move and make progress cos i know they can't hurt me. And the story is absolutely living up to its name.

You like SOMA? SOMA deez nutz! This game was honestly awesome. The futuristic underwater setting was such a vibe. A whole lotta wtf moments which i really appreciated. Story kept me invested. Characters were believable. Enemies freaked me out. Highly recommend. At least an 8/10
