정신병 걸리기 딱인 게임이다. 괴물을 죽일수도 없는데, Safe Mode 없었다면 구매도 안했을 것. 화면 찌글어 뜨리는 효과는 극혐이다 못해 연출의 한계를 보여주는듯
Greatest game ever made.

Every market we collect.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Buen juego. No demasiado terrorífico, pero sí muy dinámico. La temática de la historia es interesante
One of the best horror games out there.
An incredibly story and one of my personal favourites out of all of the games I've played. As a horror game, it would instantly go as one of the best stories I've experienced. I will say, the gameplay is very clunky and at times it can even feel boring and more like a walking sim. The monsters that you run away from are not very hard to avoid and are more of a nuisance rather than actual difficulty, so much so that the devs included a mode to make them harmless. Despite this I persisted and I was glad I did just for the story. I do wish the ending had been cut off ever so slightly earlier. I really liked the dark and bleak feeling of the lost coin toss and just having to imagine what the other Simon was experiencing on the Ark and what it would be like. I feel like being shown a glimpse of it at the end kinda took away some of the sting but I understand the devs probably didn't want the game to be that depressing considering everything we had endured so far. Regardless, this game definitely lived up to the hype.

It's fun, challenging, surprising but not too difficult
科幻恐怖题材的典范,开启了该类型独立游戏的一个新篇章
Soma is a survival horror about Simon Jarrett, who has brain damage after a car accident, who is going to see a doctor for his brain damage, who has been set up for an experiment that he thinks will help with his brain damage. Once he got out of the test experiment, he found himself in an underwater remote research facility with machinery that had human characteristics, such as a personality and consciousness. This game is from the same developers who did Amnesia: The Dark Descent, which I thought was a very solid and scary game throughout until the ending hurt my experience with it. I like me some science fiction horror, and I’ve heard about this being a horror of the subconscious, which piqued my curiosity about what that portends. After playing Soma, I’m generally surprised that this is not as talked about as Amnesia because I honestly think it’s better than Amnesia. The story is so engaging that it dives into people’s perceptions of the subconscious while making the gameplay stealthy when getting away from the glitchy machinery. The atmosphere is on point, which has been consistent with Amnesia, and the voice acting really puts their heart and soul into those performances, as the writing does such a great job of diving into things that are morally grey. Every decision you make is morally grey and isn’t going to be fully good or positive. Both decisions you make will lead to both positive and negative results. We don't usually get horror stuff that dives into that topic, especially one as deep as the portrayal of what Soma brought out. Catherine Chun is one of those characters who, while fully accepting the situation they’re in, unlike Simon, who’s more hopeful of the situation of achieving this personal goal that is unattainable, has a morally grey perspective on life in a way, and has told Simon everything about it, but also not due to not being fully clear in their communications together. She’s the type of character where I’m like, “I trust you, but I don’t trust you enough or fully.” She doesn’t care that much about robots, despite her being a robot herself, which I find confusing at first, until I realized that she care about life through digital links and transfer, and that she probably thinks of robots as just “a body” to embody instead of having a pure soul inside. If she lost her digital link connection, then I’m sure she’d panic and be more caring about the situation instead of being somewhat indifferent in terms of the perception of robots and even her human self. She clearly cares about Simon, but she cares more about their lives through their digital mind and copy process, rather than their body and life they’re living in that certain copy of themselves. The ending of the game is so good and so morbid that it really left me in a daze, and really figuring out what it was trying to say made me think differently of the game and have multiple what-if scenarios that will make your head spin. I do wish that the enemies' encounters were utilized better, that they felt more like annoying obstacles that halt my experience than scary encounters to get away from. Soma is such an amazing game that it needs to be talked about more. I’m glad we’re getting Ontos as a spiritual successor to this because I’m more into this type of experience than Amnesia. 9/10
