I was expecting normal horror with spooky monsters instead i got emotional trauma. If you're looking for cheap jump scares, this isn't it. If you're looking for a game that will scare you physically, mentally, and spiritually while making you question what it even means to be "you," congratulations—you've found peak fiction. 10/10. I lost my sleep, my chair, and possibly my identity. Worth every second.

brilliant game and story ! if you are looking for a chilling story and beautiful graphics play this game! didnt have one bug playing this, and what can i say the atmosphere is second to none! many a heart stopping moment and bum clencher !

This game has no hand-holding, the majority of story-telling you'll get is from things you go out of your way to find or theories you think up as you gather more information Graphics and atmosphere look impressive over a decade later If you enjoy the older generation of games that makes you use your neurons (pun intended) to get to your objective, this is a must play Avoid if you have a short attention span or prefer your games full of yellow paint Please buy it full price and support this masterpiece
SIn duda alguna es un juego extraordinario, llevaba tiempo queriendolo jugar y vaya, si bien lo clasifican como juego de terror yo no lo clasificaría así, a veces salen unos monstruos pero nada del otro mundo, si has jugado al primer amnesia comprenderas el estilo de terror que maneja frictional, en fin este juego te deja una fuerte duda existencial, si de verdad te metes en el papel de simon el final te deja muchas preguntas y dudas existenciales, pero en fin lo recomiendo mucho tiene una buena historia, buenos dialogos, buenos plow twist
I've been a big fan of Frictional since the Penumbra games. I've felt like the Amnesia series has been of quite variable quality, but SOMA is outstanding. It's a return to form of the atmospheric puzzle/horror, where you find yourself cowering when no monsters are near and caught of guard when they are. Great story, nice graphics, explores some interesting ideas. It's not mindblowing original, but it takes a collection of ideas and the studio makes them their own. My only disappointment is that a tiny bit short, but when most games I play feel a little bloated, I'd rather be left wanting more!
