I'm speechless... wow.... what an incredible experience.... damn.... Go and buy this game now, and play it doesn't matter if it's on sale or not, it's worth it. Do not expose yourself to any spoilers, or anything at all. This was a mindblowing experience. The first game, I think ever that has just left me speechless.
SOMA is a simple short game. While many think the gameplay is a little dated and somewhat typical, the real value comes from its storytelling. The more you learn about SOMA the more you find how terrifying it really is. The environment tells a story, every documents, computers, and voice log leaves a bread crumb for the player to interpret the narrative. Buy the game, you can finish it in one day but it's gonna make you ponder for weeks

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

masterpiece
This game ruined my life.
Phenomenal piece of art, Truly an amazing experience. I'd give up my first born child to be able to play this for the first time again.
- "I woke up in my bed today, a hundred years ago. Who am I ?" This video game was completely crazy. I really loved the atmosphere and the environments—you can tell they were designed to support and reinforce the story. I also really liked the way SOMA is played. Even though the game follows a relatively linear path, it rarely tells you what to do. There are almost no clues, so you have to figure things out by yourself. I also really liked the mechanics involving the monsters. Sometimes you have to stay still, sometimes you have to avoid looking at them, sometimes you have to be quiet—but then, sometimes, you also have to look at them. I really liked how every creature felt different, and how you had to understand how they worked when you encountered them. The game sometimes gives you hints, but not always. The storytelling is also one of the strongest parts of the game. You slowly discover what happened through recordings, computers and the environment, without the game constantly explaining everything to you. And beyond the horror, SOMA also raises some really interesting questions about consciousness, identity and what it actually means to be human. Another thing I really appreciated was the choices you have to make. They don't really have any consequences for the story, but they force you to question your own moral principles. Finally, I'd say that this game was an amazing experience. I probably spent way too much time playing it because I really wanted to finish it and see where the story would take me. It genuinely scared me at times, but more than anything, it stayed in my mind.
I can not recommend this game enough. Such a extraordinarily well made game. Everything about it is so well made and balanced, i would go as far as to say that it's perfect. I guarantee that you will love it.
