About
Near the town of Dead Hawg, past the Grimwood, at the very PEAK of Mount Awful, there stands a crumbling tower of mortar and stone.
Deep within this foul edifice, the blackest necromancer of modern times, Solomon Dark, sits on his horrible throne.
As a near graduate of the Wizarding College, your final exam is to storm Solomon's Keep. Dispatch the dark wizard, loot his evil possessions, unbind his horrific minions, and prove to your teachers once and for all that you're not as stupid as you look.
----
In Solomon's Keep, you move your wizard with one thumb, and fire magic spells with the other. As you destroy enemies, you earn experience points. Gain enough experience, and you'll gain a level, and can select new skills to help you ascend the tower.
Along the way you'll find gold and magic items. Your helpful teachers are there to explain the ins and outs of wizarding, sell you a few useful items, and even give you a few tips to improve your skills.
Along the way you'll encounter Solomon's skeletons, zombies, imps, and more. You might even encounter an undead king, and Solomon's meticulously reconstructed maggot vomiting skeletal dragon.
You'll have a chance to master 21 skills and wield over 50 magic, rare, and epic weapons.
With random dungeons and monsters, Solomon's Keep offers infinite replayability. It's never the same game twice!
If you're fond of action RPGs, Solomon's Keep will satisfy your black heart.

This was originally a phone game from 2010. The character movement is too slow. ..slower than Diablo 1 (a game I adore). As well as that, I find it irksome that you have low visibility, with a large portion of the screen being darkness. I generally dislike dark areas though unless its a novelty in a Donkey Kong Country stage or I'm playing something that needs to be dark like a basement in a 3D horror game. Itemization appears to be pretty basic and shallow as well, with just 3 equipment slots. I'd be more interested in pushing on with the game if it weren't for the slow movement speed and being constantly surrounded by darkness.
I love this game, its essentially just Solomon's Keep, but on PC. I have only one problem: I can't seem to find a way to play the other playable characters. Sirius is cool and all, but Syren is my favorite, and I wanna play her. Raptisoft, pls fix.
One of my most played games of all time, I've sunk countless hours into the mobile version and will sink many more into this one in my quest to create the perfect run! Although there isn't official modding support, the code isn't complicated so modding for personal use is easy enough to accomplish. I'm left-handed and I don't use a controller so I usually rebind my inputs in every game I play to suit my preferences, but the process in this game is a little wonky and doesn't always work as intended. My best guess from my frustration during the process of trying to change things is that for every ability that can be bound to a keyboard input, the game remembers two at a time with no direct way to control which one is being changed, so it takes extra time when attempting to change your set-up to figure out which keys can be bound to which abilities. This means for me, some abilities and hotkeys are essentially always bound to a certain input.
Game concept is good but plays exactly how it did when it released on the ipod in the 2010s, text is blurry, low textures for being on pc,no graphics improvements or settings for pc, capped at 50fps, nothing new in the game and if u put the game on fullscreen and have multiple monitors it breaks the game and u can only fix it by turning off all ur monitors except one and then turning them back on after the game loads correctly. this game should have been free just like it was on ios
I really enjoy this game; plays just like it used to. No complaints. I'd immediately pay for a remastered version that's Steam Deck verified.
Favorite game since my first ever phone. I'm so glad to see it ported to steam!! Music can be a little repetitive but it's a pretty good track so I'm not complaining too much. This game is so much fun and its so sad that I never see ANYONE else playing or talking about such a hidden gem! Only thing I can ask for now is more lore ;). Thank you Raptisoft for making this.
This game is clean A few notes: Tile pop-in at the edges of the screen on ultrawide The UI gets in in the way of targetting enemies below you with a mouse Sometimes shots don't fire where my mouse is pointing for some reason
Dreadful Retro Edition is the definitive PC Port of the mobile game we have wanted for years since Raptisoft's pre-2020 website hinted that mobile game will coming to the PC. This PC ports adds a new lighting graphics like new orb glowing unlike the mobile version doesn't have due to image bloom and adds life of quality like UI for PC/Console and Keybinds.
It was great for iPad in 2010 and I do adore this game but in 2025 on PC it feels painfully slow. It really needs a speed/movement adjustment options for it to be worth your money but all the core of a great game is still there.
still one of my top favorite phone games since its original release 16 years ago
