This game is such a gem in so many ways. It made me really miss my jigsaw puzzle days. Soothing music, gorgeous art and animations, it checks all the boxes.
I didn't remember how pleasant it was to play a jigsaw-puzzle. This game is very relaxing and each level is a continuation of a story. Beautiful illustrations like a picture book. The background music is also cool and well balanced. There's a variety of options on the menu to help you organize the pieces and compare them to the final image.
I really like this jigsaw puzzle game. The illustrations are beautiful and tell a simple but nice story. The modes with different amount of pieces lets you play for many hours. The music is very comforting and keeps you in the mood. It has some nice features to help setting up the puzzles. The entire series from the studio is worth playing. Recommended!
I loved this game, very interesting, challenging and beautiful. The drawings are amazing, the programming is fine tuned, the user interface is well executed. It is so good! Congratulations to the developers!!
A lovely puzzle game with a simple story to go along with the wonderful colours and excellent design. This is a game for jigsaw puzzle fans. There are only six separate pictures, and the challenge comes from playing with more and more pieces. The artwork is outstanding, especially if you like the fantasy genre (wizards in particular). This game could be suitable for younger players at the 135-piece level; however, there is enough depth to entertain experienced puzzlers. Pros: - art design - puzzle design (clearly thought went into how the light effects add to challenge and interest) - control design (you can play "bare bones" for a challenge, or use a number of available sorting presets to make things faster or easier) - very nice music - Steam achievements Cons: - limited number of images - no "creative" achievements (simple completion achievements) Overall: If you enjoy doing puzzles in the virtual world, this game is worth adding to your library. It lacks complexity as a game, but is well-designed for doing jigsaw puzzles. The music is a plus.
INSTALLING NOTHING
6 nette Motive die eine kurz Geschichte erzählen. Jedes Puzzle ist in verschiedenen Größen wählbar. Es kann also eine weile dauern.^^ + Erfolge
Warning: Asset Flip!
Magic Lessons in Wand Valley is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Mens Sana Interactive, took the Jigsaw Puzzle Creator Kit Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Allebi, changed the name, slapped someone else's art on it and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. It gets worse... "Jigsaw Puzzle Creator Kit" has also been shamelessly dumped on Steam by other asset flippers apart from Mens Sana Interactive:

"How Buddy’s parents met - a jigsaw puzzle tale", asset flipped by Mens Sana Interactive
"Lucky and a Life Worth Living", asset flipped by Mens Sana Interactive
"Alice in Wonderland", asset flipped by Mens Sana Interactive
"My Little Prince - a jigsaw puzzle tale", asset flipped by Mens Sana Interactive
Take a look for yourself... these are all exactly the same game! The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Jigsaw Puzzle Creator Kit" is just an asset pack for doing a simple jigsaw game, combined with art assets ripped off from stock images/the internet, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Mens Sana Interactive.
(reviewed: 2020-11-08) Positives+++ +I like the font used in the game. I find it pretty. +The music is beautiful ♪♫. It is a pleasure to listen too. Really setup the magical mood to solve the puzzles. +I like the different special effects when placing a piece on the board! There is 10 differents effects. +The images are beautiful. The background have some detailed that make it easier and more interesting to solve the puzzles. +The color theme of this game is really on point. Not only for the picture but for the UI too. Observations and suggestions~~~ ~The division of the quadrant hint could be split in equal rows and columns. Currently, when playing "Inspiration" at difficulty 240, the upper quadrants have 6 rows and the lower quadrants only have 4 rows. What about making them 5 rows each? Same thing for the columns. Left quadrant have 10 columns and right have 8. Note: the edge pieces have already been placed on the board at this point. ~Maybe add a next puzzle button when finishing a puzzle. Currently, the only option is to navigate to the menu and than, to click on the next puzzle. It kind of break the flow a little bit. ~I really like the music, but it gets a little bit repetitive. Maybe add 1 or 2 new tracks so that when playing for a long period of time the music if more diversified. Negatives--- -I got a bug, after closing and restarting the game, clicking on the first solved puzzle at the first difficulty, I was not able to click the show edge pieces anymore. Going back to the menu brought me to a blank orange background. I had to quit the game manually in my task bar and reopen it. It was okay after that. Conclusion I think this game is the best from the jigsaw series from the developers. The image have a range of color, background elements and saturation that makes it fun to solve even on bigger puzzle size. The price is fair for 6 puzzles that can be solve in 5 difficulties each. A nice little addition to a puzzle game collection!
These puzzle games are just so wonderful! They are peaceful and relaxing and let you have a really good time while sticking pieces together! All the functions from "Buddy" are here. "Lucky" had a slightly different function for the "border pieces". I believe a different artist worked on these, as the artwork differs from the other two... BUT it's still great! It tells a small and a simple story! While you are doing puzzles, you can make up your own dialogue. Or just do whatcha want. What's not to like about it? It even comes in different languages... and many different puzzle sizes... and you will be playing for hours! And yes, it saves your puzzle if you don't finish it. That's a must. :D Thank YOU! Keep up the adorable and good work!!! :) =) :>
