About
Solitaire Battle is a roguelike deckbuilder on a solitaire board where the cards you pick up let you attack, synergize, and slay fantastical opponents!
Pick up and draw cards to trigger your attacks and abilities, build decks with wild synergies, and face enemies who make you play solitaire in unique and strategic ways! As you gather skills, every card pickup will start a chain of effects that attack, power you up, and weaken your enemies.
Choose your hero and face those who would use solitaire for evil! Play as a dwarf who digs up cards to stun opponents, a knight who fills the board with shields to defend himself, or a monk who waits for the right moment to unleash a ceaseless combo of attacks! Defeat powerful bosses, like an immortal lich, a fearsome dragon, or… an unexpectedly dangerous chicken.

what if that random game on your grandma's computer was an incredible banger
Very nice game overall. It’s basically solitaire with some twists, and it’s good fun if you enjoyed Solitairica and similar titles. There’s a demo if you want to try before buying.
Cute and cozy solitaire game with a decent amount of strategy and a bunch of game modes and item unlocks. $3-5 is a very reasonable price if you're into solitaire or card-based roguelikes in general.
I played the demo and enjoyed that for hours and am loving the release. If you like solitaire and roguelite deckbuilder your going to have a great time.
Play the demo first! If it's your jam, you'll enjoy how much more the full game has to offer. Solitaire Battle is a thoughtfully planned version of Tri Peaks solitaire. It's simple to learn but the battle strategy becomes apparent when you start learning the equip cards and using color synergies (e.g., green = heal, etc.). Every character has different abilities and synergies without impairments that would otherwise ruin a good character or playthrough, making it easier to experiment with different characters and builds. The game starts you off with a few characters and equip cards and colors. As you play and win or gain achievements, the game unlocks and introduces more of everything, preventing new players from being overwhelmed by choice. There are some features that need trail-and-error to figure out. The standard game from start-to-win lasts about 25-30 minutes, and there's a continued mode to keep fighting with your build at higher stakes. The game can be relaxing on the easiest and middle difficulties, but it becomes much more tough at the hardest mode, asking the player to have a good strategy in mind as the game moves on. Like all card games, many things are affected by RNG, but the game gives the player ways to skirt the RNG and feel satisfaction in winning through their mix of equips and power-up cards (but the enemies can do the same!). However, there are times when high-level/difficulty opponents go wild and match a ton of cards and end your run immediately. I really like the old-school visual elements, art style, and the FM sound chip music. Combined, they give the game a nostalgic and cozy feel while still playing like a modern game. It's a great game to play to zone out to or listen to a podcast to, etc. I've played dozens of hours in the old demos on my lunch breaks because of how short the game loop can be. The full release offers a lot more to experience!
A fun little cute game which gives the players what is offered: Solitaire and Rogue-like stuffs. There are fourteen Hero characters up for grabs and each one of them comes with their own personal skill. I would say this is mostly relaxing... Up until you get stun locked/"Lock" locked or bled to death. I think bleeding is the most annoying one thus far, as majority of the time my Heroes get Ko'ed hardcore due to that one. XD Otherwise, if you do not have time or you want a quick break between other, much longer games? This game is like a tasty snack. Just enough to keep you going. (Good work! It's nice to see Solitaire games being made with different flavours... :D)
This is so much fun. I have been waiting for it's release since I had played the Demo. If you like solitaire games, you'll like this... I think you should try this.
Bro I lost 4.5hours cos my laptop was offline when I played it but I'm snorting this game like crack cocaine I wish more people knew about this game please add more items though because it has like maybe 20 items now? would be so fun if it had more i love this game so much
This one just didn't work for me. There seems to be a lot going on, but none of it really seems to matter. I got to 7-1 in the extra difficulty run on my first go before I decided just to close the game and move on as nothing seemed to be a challenge. Arts neat and all, but I there's too much going on and nothing explained, and nothing seems to be a negative as I felt no challenge at all playing this for the time I did before refunding.
