About
Solarpunk is a survival game in a technologically advanced world of floating islands. Alone or together with 4 friends, you can construct buildings, grow food, craft gadgets and explore distant islands with your own airship.
Use sunlight, wind and water to create an energy system and automate your processes like gathering resources and watering your plants.
Design your dream home base with a wide range of materials and decorations. You’re free to build cozy spaces, add tiny details, and make your island feel just like home.
These buildings were crafted by our amazing community in the demo!

Generate electricity using wind and solar energy. Weather conditions affect how much energy you produce, so you’ll need to plan ahead. Store energy in batteries and use wireless power to keep your base running smoothly.

Play solo or with friends. Everyone has their own inventory, and you can decide whether to build something together or create your own little corner in the sky.

In Solarpunk, you live in symbiosis with animals. There is no exploitation, only coexistence. Pigs, for example, will dig up truffles if treated well. Growing fruits and vegetables is your main source of food. Plant seeds in the ground and harvest them once they’re fully grown.

Automate your tasks using transport drones to gather resources, giving you more time to build and explore your skybound home.

Each player can build their own airship. Use it to travel to surrounding islands and discover new resources.

If the game had a better flow of upgrading/advancing, it could be a fun little game, but I found myself being all ready for advancement, but subjected to waiting on crops a LOT. Like, I don't mind once in awhile waiting, but when it was over and over waiting for wheat or cotton to grow (not to mention the yields of plants being individual trade-offs make no sense) I was myself burning out on the game VERY fast.

Really disappointing, most of the time is spent standing around waiting for crops to grow so you can progress with the next incredibly linear objective. Maybe building options expand later on but are very sparce to begin with, cozy vibes not found.
fun game, even when playing solo. its like a mix of raft & minecraft, so if you like those games, you'll enjoy this one
My friend and I recently picked this game up, and we've been having a great time with it. That said, I do feel it probably would have benefited from launching as an Early Access title rather than a full release. It feels like the developers just need a bit more time to polish some features and expand on the content. Even so, we've really enjoyed our time with it. Pros: The visuals are fantastic. The art style strikes a great balance not too cartoony, but not trying to be ultra-realistic either. It has a really appealing and cozy look. We also loved the variety of decorative options. The furniture looks well-designed and fits the game's style without feeling cheesy or out of place. This may be a bit of a hot take, but I actually liked that each island has its own unique resources. I know some people weren't fans of that design choice, but I think it gives each island a purpose instead of making them all feel the same. Suggestions & Feedback: I'd love to see furniture become functional. It feels odd that you can't even sit on couches or chairs. Even simple interactions like sitting would make your home feel much more alive. A computer, tablet, or some sort of in-game terminal would also be helpful so you can easily check vendor upgrade requirements without having to travel back every time. Building could use some improvements as well. I'd like to see better snapping for plot boxes and fences. Right now it's difficult to make clean, straight layouts without spending extra time lining everything up manually. More building materials, such as stone walls and other architectural pieces, would also add more creativity. Ship customization would be another welcome addition. Having storage on your ship would be especially useful before unlocking drones, since you're constantly transporting materials between islands. It would also be great if other players could ride or use the same ship instead of everyone needing their own. Since the game is called Solarpunk, I'd love to see the solar systems expanded. By the end game, solar power doesn't feel nearly as important. It would be nice if solar generators could be upgraded or improved so they remain a viable power source throughout the entire game. More crops and animal varieties would also help keep farming fresh. One issue we did run into was animals occasionally glitching out of fenced areas. We eventually had to avoid building pens near edges or teleport them back when they escaped. Overall, I think this game has a ton of potential as long as the developers continue supporting it with updates. I would also encourage people to read what the developers have said about the type of game they were trying to make. I've seen a lot of negative reviews criticizing things that simply aren't the focus of this game. This is a cozy crafting and building game, not a story-driven experience like Stardew Valley. If that's what you're looking for, I think it's absolutely worth giving a chance especially if you have a friend to play with. I didn't want this review to come across as negative. My goal was to provide constructive feedback while also highlighting what the game already does well. I'm excited to see where the developers take it because I genuinely think it has the foundation for a wonderful crafting game.
very relax game !!!
