About

Construct and design buildings for optimal working conditions. Hire people to design and release software and hardware, so you can defeat the simulated competition and take over their businesses. Manage and educate your employees to make sure they are skilled and satisfied with their job.

Buy plots in a huge map to create and customize your own building. No grid necessary, just make sure there's coffee.

Craft and manufacture software and hardware products, corner your market, defeat the competition, and make them work for you.

Create and optimize teams of employees with different skills and demands to release products in a timely fashion. Why not poach a big shot lead designer from a competitor to give you the edge?

Every playthrough of Software Inc. is different, as the market is simulated and randomized. Each action you take affects how history plays out.

Delegate important tasks to your team leaders, such as managing development cycles and human resources
Play against up to 3 other players in the same map or cooperate with your friends by delegating work tasks, manufacturing jobs and server hosting

i dont know what the hell you did CoreDumping, BUT KEEP DOING IT MAN

Look above at my total hours on record for this game. Do I like this game? I think so! It has some annoyances, (it IS still in early access), but they must not be too annoying 'cause I keep coming back to the game. Was the "Trash" update needed? IMHO, no. But what business doesn't have trash cans and sloppy employees? OMG the sloppy employees!! Either I've hired the sloppiest slobs in the game or there are just WAY too many food spills. I had to hire extra cleaners just to clean up the food spills. Maybe the spills track with the selected difficulty...? Harder difficulty = more spills? I enjoy the software development process and manufacturing phones. That's what keeps me playing the game. Progression can be hard at higher difficulty, duh, so go easy until you learn the game and your company will be earning hundreds of millions in no time.
Very good game, fun to compete against ai and multiplayer/coop(?) is pretty good. Really good building, love putting custom images on desks and later forgetting the horendest memes I put around the office. Very much enjoy accepting a contract to work on my competition's game and sabotage it so I will get more sales.

Please don't stop updating, I love the game and will always support it. :D :D :D :D
Great gameplay, constant updates, and very satisfying to play. I'm having a blast with it.
This is one of those games where you need to give it like 15 hours first before it comes together. There is a vast number of systems that you can choose to engage with or not. I did a full playthrough without touching law, publishers, patents, or project management at all. There were a few mechanics that seemed pretty pointless, or at the very least trivial, such as investing in other companies (unless you do a takeover). Overall, however, it's a great game. It's complex to the point that you'll only really have a firm grasp on how to succeed once you've completed a full run. I love complex games, but I'll admit it took me longer than usual to appreciate what this game is doing. If that's your cup of tea, you'll like it. 7/10 for me dawg.
This "little" game has 10+ years of refinement. It was already great 10 years ago.
