MOFF !!!!
This game was such a lovely little experience with a lot of heart. In Social Moth, you play as Aletris, a socially anxious moth trying to find their place in a big, overwhelming world. The hand-drawn art is absolutely beautiful, and the soft colors and lighting give everything this calm, dreamlike feel. The voice acting and dialogue are great too; they really make Aletris feel alive and relatable. It’s a short game — it took me about 45 minutes to finish — but it’s a really meaningful experience. The story gently reminds you how important mental health is, and how the words we tell ourselves truly matter. I especially liked how the music reacted to Aletris’ level of anxiety — it added so much emotional depth to the gameplay without being heavy-handed. The platforming feels smooth, and the controls are fully configurable, which is a nice touch. It’s not a super challenging game, but it’s one that leaves you thinking afterward. Overall, Social Moth is a simple but heartfelt experience. For the price, it’s absolutely worth picking up — it’s a cozy, short play that doubles as a nice little reminder to be kind to yourself.
Super cute and sweet. Relatable if you have anxiety. Fully voice acted. Good assortment of characters.
Pretty nice little game. Loved the art, loved the dialogue, loved the voice acting, it was overall a fun experience! And it reminded me of how important mental health is and that social anxiety is a thing within the world. It's pretty short but I think that it's a pretty good little play session. Also gotta love how bugs are the characters within this game.
Should I leave a review? What if they don't like it? If they don't like it, they might judge me or hate me. I should just forget about it. I'm no good at doing these things anyway. Why did I write anything at all? I shouldn't have done this and now somebody might read it. I shouldn't even have gotten out of bed today. ...is what I would have said if I hadn't played this game. Okay, I'm exaggerating, but you should buy this game, play it, and try to understand that different people have different challenges.
알레트리스가 매우 귀엽습니다.
Adorable ~2 hour game, it is a steal at the $1 price. The anxiety mechanic was surprisingly relatable and Aletris is so cute I just want to hug them! 10/10 game I ended up replaying it about 3 times
ITS TOO DAMN SHORT!!!!!!!!!!!! make it LONGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAKE ENDINGS!!!!!!!! MAKE DLCS THAT ARE FREE OR SONMETHING I NEED MORE MOTHS
The content may be limited, but the game is charming, the story is good, and of course, it has a moth. Genuinely a lovely experience.
This game is adorable! As someone who lives with social anxiety, has gone through exposure therapy to work on it, and works as an exposure therapist helping others, not only is this an accurate depiction of having the condition, it's also a really heartwarming depiction of CBT with an exposure focus, which is the most effective treatment for Social Anxiety. Thank you to the developers for creating this beautiful game, very well done!
