VISCERAL X-RAY KILL CAM AND ADVANCED GUNPLAY PHYSICS
The trademark X-ray kill cam returns, showing the true destructive power of every one of your signature shots. Bones deflect bullets to unpredictably rip new paths through enemy bodies and SMGs and pistols also trigger kill cams, showing multiple bullet shots in dramatic slow motion.
To land that shot you will need to think like a true sniper. Factor in rifle stock and barrel options along with gravity, wind and heart rate while you zero your sights on the target.
AUTHENTIC WORLD WAR II WEAPONS AND CUSTOMISATION
The arsenal at your disposal will feature returning franchise favourites as well as a host of new authentic WWII weapons. Picking your loadout will be key to striking down the Reich’s nefarious plans!
Customise your weapon to suit your operating style. Find workbenches scattered around the campaign to customise and upgrade your rifles, secondaries and pistols with new scopes, stocks, barrels, magazines and more. Also remember to pick the right ammo for the right job, whether you need armour-piercing shells or a non-lethal takedown.
PROPAGANDA MISSIONS – BE THE RESISTANCE
Locate unique Propaganda posters across the main campaign and step into the shoes of a French Resistance fighter in all new Propaganda missions. During these scenarios, sneak, snipe and take down enemies to complete time-sensitive objectives and help end the Nazi occupation.
AXIS INVASION MODE
The fan-favourite Axis Invasion mode is back! invade another player’s Campaign as an Axis sniper and engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Whether you stalk your prey, lay an ambush, or run in guns blazing, the threat of invasion provides a new dimension to the campaign’s challenge.
TENSE ONLINE MULTIPLAYER
When you’ve mastered your rifle, customise your character and loadout as you take the fight online in competitive 16-player battles to earn XP, medals and ribbons.
If competition isn’t your style, you can also team up with up to 3 other players against waves of enemies in Survival mode.

Ok so, short answer yes, long answer... well..... It's fun, very similar experience to SE:5. That said, I can see why people are saying this should have been DLC for SE:5. The missions, at least all but the first and last missions, felt of similar length to the SE:5 ones but just, not quite as engaging. There were only 9 total campaign missions, not gonna look up how many were in SE:5 but it felt like there was less. Game just kinda ended when you realised you were on the final mission at mission 9. New weapons, haven't touched them all yet as I only did a cursory playthrough to see how the game worked, but good to see a variety from the first. New game modes, but really outside of Axis Invasion and possibly MP im not entirely fussed, might do whats needed for achievements but wont touch em again after. As before, gameplay is very similar to SE:5. So if you liked SE:5 for that, then its worth it for that alone. The caveat is, Rebellion really must be on drugs with their pricing structure. I purchased the deluxe edition after researching to see if I got the pistol and rifle addons included, to which the results claimed yes, however they still appear to be purchasable and dont appear in game. They went a bit berserk with the pricing of SE:5 DLC and passes as well, and even heavily discounted, it was hard to recommend getting the extra content. 60% off on this game was still not enough of a discount. I read 70% discount is probably the sweet spot and I would agree. So yes, recommend the game, but really get it as cheap as you are willing to pay.
good AA game with a great gameplay (hitman +). Zero stutter, crash, low FPS but terrible Anti aliasing.
I bought this on sale as, though I love these games, I think they're quite slight in content. And Resistance is no exception, but it's definitely more Sniper Elite. It's really just an extension of SE5, so more of the same really. If you liked 5, you'll like this one, though the two are perhaps a bit too similiar. I will say, the main character is a bit irritating but, amusingly, there is a free DLC that lets you play as Karl again. So, if that's a dealbreaker for you, you can just install that for no cost. That being said, I'm really not sure where the series can go from here. Resistance feels more like an expansion pack than anything and I'm glad I got it at a big discount. I have some ideas, such as perhaps going down an alternate history route or maybe even letting you play as someone from another Allied nation. The formula definitely needs mixing up somehow. But yeah, not bad for £12.
played a lot of Sniper Elite 4 & 5 and this is more of the same, i generally kill every Nazi instead of sneaking around, which makes the game a little too easy even on the hardest settings? Bought on sale for half price after a year of waiting which is funny because i'll drop $25 on a drink in manhattan that lasts ten minutes but i can't spend $25 on a gamei'm gonna play for hours, whatis that?
