The award-winning series returns as Karl Fairburne fights to uncover Project Kraken in 1944 France. The genre-defining authentic sniping, with enhanced kill cam, has never looked or felt better as you fight across immersive maps to stop the Nazi war machine in its tracks.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.14/day in the week to Sep 11 → 43.17/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

what a wonderful date to be on sale, the only good nazi is a dead nazi

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I found the game to be disappointing when compared to the previous title Sniper Elite 4, which in my opinion had it all perfect. Even if I haven't played this game nearly as much as Sniper Elite 4, I noticed it to be a huge downgrade in essentially every aspect of the game. Things such as movement, kill cameras and in my opinion graphics were a huge letdown for me. I wouldn't say the game is horrible, but definitely far from being good in my opinion, there is still work that needs to be done to polish the game and make it as enjoyable as Sniper Elite 4
Such a pity because I really liked sniping on authentic difficulty. I even compared it with Arma (but pve). The promise to player was fulfilled until the level Secret Weapons. Pros: Gun is fun. All the game mechanics work pretty well together. AI logic is sometimes dicey but their behavior can still be learned to some degree, making headshots way more satisfying. However I don't know what the designers were smoking when they got to the later levels. Invisible walls everywhere to block path, with the sole purpose to arbitrarily block the players from having line of sight of the field over long distance. I feel in the effort to standardize combat flow, they de-prioritized the core pillar of the game: Sniping. You can't find a single high ground to -play the battlefield-, but rather forced to play a stealth game and get into the trenches and use your silenced SMG.
Sniper Elite 5 gives me exactly what I want from a sniper game: big maps, careful planning, ridiculous long shots, and the beautiful horror show that is the X-ray kill cam. The best part of these games is always the setup. Finding a good vantage point, tagging enemies, watching patrols, planning the route, holding your breath, and waiting for that perfect shot. When it lands, it feels so satisfying. Horrible for the enemy’s organs, great for my dopamine. This one feels smoother and more polished than the older entries. The maps are fun to explore, there are different ways to approach objectives, and I like having room to be tactical instead of being shoved down one path. You can sneak, sabotage, distract, trap, snipe, or completely mess up and turn the whole mission into a loud little disaster. The stealth is still the heart of it for me. I love clearing areas carefully, moving through cover, hiding bodies, timing shots with sound, and pretending I am a calm professional instead of someone who just panicked because one guard turned around too fast. And yes, the kill cam remains disgusting art. The game did not need to show me bones, lungs, eyeballs, and testicles being punished in slow motion, but here we are, respecting the craft. Sniper Elite 5 is tense, satisfying, and extremely easy to lose time in if you enjoy stealth, sniping, and making one bullet ruin someone’s entire afternoon. Very good sniper goblin gameplay.
I refuse to play games with Kernel Level Anti Cheat, not a cheater, just a rational thinker that doesn't want their computer to get hacked in a bad way. This game allows me to play offline without ever installing that garbage EAC and for that reason alone they get my Thumbs up. Nothing about the game just about the business practice.
Pretty pathetic story, controls are terrible compared to the last title. It's just another way to get you to pay for DLC for an incomplete and poorly made game.
