Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Sep 10 → 8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
It's okay but I'd recommend buying SE4 instead as it's a direct upgrade to SE3. The levels are quite short and all look similar, weapon variety is really bad without DLC (also why is the Kar98 locked behind DLC?!). Enemy AI and the xray killcam is much better in SE4. Online was fun a decade ago, and the shooting/graphics still hold up. Get it on sale with the season pass.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The story is decent, the game is a bit poorly optimized for its graphics, however still a good experience overall, and the last mission was great. The coop experience however is terrible. We had to change firewall settings, verify game files, and then still had to repeatedly restart the game until we could join a lobby. If you want to play it alone, or if you are willing to put up with the bad coop experience, its worth playing, but I recommend getting it on a sale only.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3653437305
Coming off of a second playthrough of Sniper Elite V2 and having played through Sniper Elite 4 and 5 on an Xbox Series X, I was very excited to play the game that was the start of the more open-map, sandbox-style gameplay of 4 and 5. Almost 17 hours of playing through the main campaign later, and I was left feeling let down and disappointed. Let me start with the things I *do* like about Sniper Elite 3: First, I love the setting of Africa. The desert and landscape feel very authentic for the time the game takes place in and it's a lot of fun to navigate and explore throughout the maps. The story was pretty well done, though admittedly didn't feel as polished or detailed as in 4 and 5. And the sniping x-rays are a chef's kiss, as always- nothing is more satisfying than watching the damage your bullet inflicts on an enemy. Unfortunately, that's where my enjoyment of this game ends. I would probably enjoy it more if it didn't feel like it was actively pushing me NOT to pursue stealth when it would almost always be more advantageous to do so- and yet, there were many times where I was in fact not able to use stealth and forced to go the aggressive route when I did not want to. If a game is going to have an open, non-linear map and sandbox for each mission, I feel that I should be able to have the means to use the playstyle I want and not be forced into a specific playstyle. Throughout my 17 hours of playing through the main campaign, I had multiple instances where I was sitting behind cover, where there was absolutely no possible way enemies could have seen me from where they were. And yet somehow, when the tiniest part of my head pops over cover, they can see me AND damage me even though their bullets should not be able to strike me. These are problems that were very prevalent in Sniper Elite V2 (even its recent remaster) and ones I was really hoping would've been fixed in this game, but that was evidently not the case. On top of that, the enemy's AI is almost completely unpredictable and their behavior feels completely broken at times. There was one instance in a mission where I was able to establish the route an enemy half-track was taking and laid a teller mine for it to roll over. The trap went off without a hitch- but when the mine and the half-track exploded, somehow every enemy on the map was immediately able to triangulate exactly where I was, even when there was absolutely NO logical way they could have. Last I recall, land mines do not have the ability to broadcast the location of the person who sat them down. Mind you, this was on Sniper Elite difficulty and not Authentic. Even then, it wouldn't have made sense. I wanted to like this game, especially after hearing all the praise people give it. But I just cannot bring myself to enjoy it as many others can. The ONLY things I can praise it for are its setting, overall decent gunplay and x-ray kill-cams. Many kinks that were in V2 are still present in 3, which very much hindered my enjoyment of the game alongside the fact that it constantly felt like I was being punished for trying to be stealthy throughout the main campaign missions. For that, I unfortunately cannot respect Sniper Elite 3 for what it is.
