Small World

The game itself is a fun, fast paced, little strategy game. Use an assortment of (randomly paired) abilities and races to land grab. Then choose a different combo when your momentum stalls. Fight for land with other players. The mutliplayer is broken. The "invite buddies" multiplayer section doesn't work. It reads everyone as "not owning the game". The Online Arena sometimes works, so you can have friends join you there in private matches (though you can't add bots in those matches). In my friend and I's two playthrough we had multiple disconnects in each round. No fullscreen option. (No options besides SFX and Music volume) Lots of game crashes. It seems to be an abandoned game that has been having these mutliplayer issues for a while. I got it 80% off, which seems like a fair price for whats offered.

В це грати неможливо. Гра не оптимізована під сучасні ОС Windows 10/11. У локальному мультиплеєрі у гравців, які підключаються, гра моментально вилітає. У глобальному мультиплеєрі не вдалося встановити ліміт часу для одного гравця більше ніж 10 хвилин + постійні перепідключення до онлайн-сервера. Максимально не рекомендую цю гру. Краще обрати Tabletop Simulator чи інші версії.

Рефаунд, відсутня оптимізація, 10 вилетів за 10 хвилин, онлайн не працює, неможливо грати.

Отличная компьютеризация интересной настольной игры. Хорошо подходит если дефицит времени и нет времени или места разложить игру, тут можно поиграть хотсит, также можно поиграть в одиночку.

Good port of the game, the AI isn't too stupid. The speed-up mechanic is still kinda annoying. Consistent crashes on macbook m3 chip make it nearly unplayable

Ich spiele Small World Online schon seit einiger Zeit und finde das Spiel an sich wirklich gelungen. Die Umsetzung des Brettspiels ist schön gemacht, das Design ist ansprechend, und die Spielmechanik funktioniert grundsätzlich gut. Leider kann ich seit einigen Monaten nicht mehr gemeinsam mit meiner Freundin und meinem Bruder online spielen. Wir bekommen ständig die gleiche Fehlermeldung, dass wir angeblich die App nicht installiert hätten – obwohl das natürlich nicht stimmt. Wir haben versucht, verschiedene Einstellungen zu ändern, neue Profile erstellt und sogar den Support kontaktiert. Leider kam bis heute keine Antwort. Das ist wirklich enttäuschend, denn das Spiel selbst hätte eine viel bessere Betreuung verdient. Die mangelnde Kommunikation und der nicht reagierende Support sind ein großes Minus. Zusätzlich ist die Stabilität des Spiels verbesserungswürdig: Häufig brechen Partien mitten im Spiel ab. Zwar kann man sie meist fortsetzen, aber es ist einfach frustrierend, wenn das mehrmals an einem Abend passiert. Fazit: Ein tolles Spielkonzept, das durch technische Probleme und einen inaktiven Support stark an Spielspaß verliert. Wenn diese Probleme behoben würden, wäre Small World Online wirklich empfehlenswert.
