About

Slingbot Survivors is a roguelite auto-shooter that blends bullet-heaven combat with physics-based platforming.
You play as a robot sent by humanity to an alien planet, tasked with wiping out its hostile wildlife. Armed with a grappling hook as your only means of movement, you will swing, zip, and launch yourself through chaotic battlefields while your arsenal automatically tears through waves of enemies.
This is a fresh take on the survivor-like formula, trading simple movement for fast, skill-driven traversal.

Move Differently. Instead of walking, you navigate entirely with a grappling hook. Swing through levels, maintain momentum, and reposition constantly to survive.
Bullet-Heaven Combat. Face relentless hordes of alien enemies in auto-shooter gameplay inspired by the survivor-like genre. Focus on movement and positioning while your weapons handle the rest.
Physics-Based Gameplay. Your movement and many weapons are driven by physics, creating more dynamic combat and allowing for expressive playstyles not seen in traditional survivor-likes.
Run-Based Progression. Each run lasts around 25 minutes and is filled with upgrades, weapons, and gadgets that shape your build.
Unlock and Experiment. Unlock new characters, weapons, and tools as you progress, expanding your options across runs.
Slingbot Survivors sits between slower-paced survivor-likes and more intense action roguelites, offering a higher skill ceiling through movement while keeping the accessibility of auto-shooter combat.
Fast, energetic, and skill-driven gameplay
A focus on precision movement and momentum
Short, replayable runs with meaningful progression
A lighthearted tone that does not take itself too seriously

Ok, whoever came up with this is both a villainous mastermind and a sheer genius. This is like that flappy bird game that came out way back in the early 2000's and captivated millions because it was so simple and yet so devilishly cruel. Honestly, this moves the needle in a whole new direction on survivor-like auto-shooters and what they can be. This is so simple, is such a blast, and is so bloody difficult to master. There's upgrades you can buy with credits you get from runs, there's bosses at the end of waves, and all kinds of mid run XP buffs.... everything is here. The graphics are perfect for what the game is, and the music is on point! FYI - I actually played this with a gamepad. It work perfectly well with left stick and right trigger, which is really all the controls you need. I'll try later this evening on my steam deck to see if it works out there.
Slingbot Survivors is not only a great Survivor game, but it is also a unique twist on the genre. While most Survivors focus on risk-taking, upgrades and RNG, you can end up just standing still, killing everything that comes close. Not in Slingbot! Slingbot focuses on unique movement mechanics, and the game encourages you to explore, stay in motion and go as fast as possible. It is extremely satisfying to move using the grapple gun, and when you add "typical" Survivor mechanics on top of that... In conclusion - you should definitely give it a try. It's totally worth the surprisingly low price.
Made me miss the birth of my second son. No content though, So I have time to see the birth of my third son
Very fun game!! I can play it for hours without getting tired of it! The price is so good for the product (I would even pay double) I'll recommend this game to my friends! P.S can't wait to the full game!
game's fun but it's in early access so there is still not a lot of content, but it's still fun nonetheless
Slingbot Survivors is a fun survivor-like game where you move using a grappling hook. It's all about swinging around, auto-shooting aliens, and picking up new weapons and upgrades. The physics-based movement feels unique for this type of game and enjoyable. You fight lots of enemies and try to survive on an alien planet. It's still in Early Access, so some features and content are missing. Give it a shot if you want to experience a refresh take on the garlic-like genre.

Honestly a lot of fun and refreshing from the overdone Vampire Survivors formula. the devs squash bugs very quickly and the content added with every update is always unique and fun. Pros: +Very quick runs +Fun weapons +Difficult, but only on the higher difficulties. If you are having a hard time you can play on a lower difficulty, and the second character you unlock is very defensive without compromising too much on offense so you can fall back on it. +Even this early into early access there is a lot of stuff to unlock +Cool final boss Cons: -UI is readable but boring and boxy -most enemies are boring -only one biome rn (it looks like there will be many more at full release) -side quests lack variety -Slinging around the level is fun but it has a very high skill floor, and too low of a skill ceiling, you can't get very creative with it unfortunately. Overall everything in this game is very fun, with the biggest downside being variety which becomes a bit annoying after about 8-10 hours. I am hopeful the devs can fix that issue and the game will be near perfect. 8/10
