A pleasant, short (100% in <2 hours), cute little Metroidvania. Solid, too. It doesn't really break any new ground, but it doesn't need to - the controls, the difficulty, the art style, everything is pretty nice and comes together for a fun gaming experience. It's one of those games that don't generally care about genre conventions and just do things their own way - often this kind of mindset turns into a disaster, but here it works quite well. In particular the way your little slime grows stronger and stronger over the game is something I really liked. Your HP increases, yes, but also your standard attack gets nice little modifiers that turn it from a barely effective pebble throw to a ruinously powerful spreadgun of death, once you get all the upgrades. Oh, and I know I said this already, but it's just so incredibly cute. You can dress your slime up in little hats, you can decide your slime's colour early on, and of course the idea of being a slime on a quest to save their parents... I mean, come on. How can you not [strike]slime[/strike] smile? It's pure, it's tight, it's cute, it's just fun. I wish there were more games like this one. Slime's Journey is a really fun side scrolling game reminiscent of old sega genesis and super nintendo games. You are a young slime orphaned by an evil shaman that has taken your parents and you are the only one able to save them! It's the first of many slime games I've yet to play and it was simple and fun! You get to dress up your slime and find powerups. You have to keep a map in your mind of where you need to back track to once acquiring certain powerups, and it was a little difficult, but I managed it just fine. Aquele típico joguinho de plataforma que você pega só pra passar o tempo e acaba indo horas e horas? pois é... dê uma chance pra esse ai. =D

[h2]サクッと遊べるメトロイドヴァニア風アクション[/h2] lightUPは[url=store.steampowered.com/app/1373760/Super_Wiloo_Demake/]Super Wiloo Demake[/url]のSW版で知りまして、それ以来パブリッシャーページのフォローもさせていただいている程、お気に入りのクリエイターさんです。 2Dアクション系で気になる物は一通り購入させていただき、上記Wiloo以来に久し振りにゲームプレイ。 「あ、これメトロイドヴァニア」なんだ、と。 PVとスクショで「2Dアクションかな」と思い込んでたのですが、ゲーム説明を良く読んでみると確かにミニメトロイドヴァニアと書いてました。 あまり迷路みたいな複雑なのは嫌だなーと思いつつプレイしたのですが、多少の分岐程度でほぼほぼ一本道に近いです。 最終的に行くべき道が何処なのか分かりますよー、みたいなそんなイメージです。 3つの難易度から選べまして、初回はお試しでイージーにしてみました。 イージーでやった所かなりサクサクと進め、ゲーム内タイム計測1時間24分程でシナリオクリア出来ました。 スライムがパワーアップでどんどん強くなって行くので、プレイしていてとても楽しめました。 クリア後は宝箱を2つ逃していたので探索、普通に見落としてた場所にありました。 マップを良く探索すれば普通に宝箱コンプ出来るので、結構良心的な造りの難易度と感じました。 イージーでやった限りの感想ですが、マリオをそこそこ出来る程度の人ならばサクサク進められそうな難易度に思えます。 スライムの色選択も出来て、ちょっとしたアバターも付けられるので、個人的にはそのような細かい部分も評価点です。 一応スライムのパワーアップに応じて段階的に取れるアバターが増えるのですが、宝箱を開ける事でアバターが増えるシステムでも良かったかもしれません。 最後に少しだけネタバレ。任意観覧設定にしておきます。 [spoiler]全宝箱を開けたら102%になりました。 29個開けた時点で100%になったようで、その少し後に再度EDアニメが挟まりました。 102%は例えばSDK2（英名DKC2）みたいなゲームでもあったりするので、意図的なのかもしれませんね。 （もしかしたらミスの可能性も分かりませんが……）[/spoiler] アクションが得意ならば寄り道込みでも1時間半程で全クリ出来るので、値段も踏まえまして十分に楽しめました。
