Runnyk is a fun little RPG that has good music and simple combat. For $4.99 you can do a lot worse. Some minor bugs need to be worked out but the save system is good enough that I never lost any real progress.

Jogo muito divertido e relaxante pra passar o tempo. Os gráficos, apesar de simples, são bem fofos e bonitos. O estilo pixel art desse jogo foi feito com carinho e todos os cenários são bem agradáveis de se olhar. As músicas, apesar de variadas, poderiam ter tido uns contrastes maiores em relação de umas com as outras, pois você acaba sentindo que tá ouvindo a música anterior só que com uma variação adicional inserida nela (por exceção das músicas contra boss). Encontrei acho que 1 ou 2 bugs no jogo que foram resolvidos facilmente, então não atrapalharam a progressão do jogo. Acho que o que mais me irritou no jogo foram as habilidades de alguns monstros que lançam contra você parecerem meio "teleguiadas", como se soubessem pra onde você vai andar/pra onde você vai pular, e aí a habilidade te acerta de qualquer forma, podendo causar frustração. E senti falta de um mapa com indicação de onde ficava as passagens bloqueadas que precisavam de item X, Y, Z etc. Pois se você não lembrar aonde fica, vai ter que andar bastante até encontrar aonde estava o local que estava bloqueado, já que nesse jogo tem que ficar retornando a locais já explorados pra desbloquear coisas. Se você não é habituado com jogos plataforma, talvez você tilte um pouco aqui e ali em certos momentos do jogo (assim como eu). Mas, se você é habituado a jogar jogos nesse estilo, então você irá gostar ainda mais do jogo, mesmo com os contras que mencionei. E, com o preço acessível e considerando ser uma desenvolvedora indie, concluo que vale a pena comprar e jogar.

Definitely THE BEST LightUp game to date. 2D platforming done well at a bare-bones asking price. Solid gameplay, fun theme, collectibles, XP, in-game currency and difficulty options - all great things. Built to be enjoyed with a controller – this one would feel right at home on a console or SteamDeck. Characters from previous titles make cameos and little hidden areas litter the landscape. One of my favorite features of the game was the environmental BMG; the rich soundtrack really helps build the environment and adds to the fun. It doesn't do anything revolutionary – it’s just does all the simple things I love in a open world platformer. It doesn't require any real logical thinking or puzzle solving. At budget price – it’s a bite size run through 4 silly Nordic worlds. It just a simple fun game that can make for an enjoyable experience -if you allow it. Loyal husband simulator 10/10

Un juego con un estilo propio pixel art precioso y una banda sonora increíble. Juliano Ferreira de Lima es un desarrollador independiente brasileño de juegos pixel art que ha sabido unificar al amor por el pixel con su estilo personal característico. Sus juegos son puro arte, pura nostalgia y de grandísima jugabilidad. Es increíble la calidad que atesora este título que mezcla acción con plataformeo y algo de RPG.

Definitely the most advanced of this company's titles but still an evening of light gaming, Slight RPG element, and near the end an actually inovative tool is aquired, I LOVED IT! as always great job for these guys acheiving a light cheap game adventure on a budget!

I really like this so far. It has solid gameplay mechanics and platforming. The challenge is the variety of enemies. I haven't encountered many glitches, except one that freeze the character. The mini-secrets are awesome. Like the optional upgrades are always a joy to go find. Only downside is that it has about 4hrs of gameplay. 8.0/10

Runnyk is a platforming adventure game that will delight you from beginning to end with the adorable characters and enemies, the tight and effective combat, and it's ease. It's a very short game, even when attempting to 100% the whole deal, but it's the perfect game to take bites out of over time or to complete all in one go!
