back in 1998 me and my friend Chase were making this game... and guess what... Chase found it again. he burnt it onto a CD-ROM and now we're going to finish it and put it on-line. i got out of computers in the mean time because I had to get a real job at a Dollar$aver (I even have a kid... how did htat happen BWL!!!?) so i forgot how to program but Chase is going to do it, he went to college for it. i still have my notebook with all of the designs and guess what.... its still flipping incredable. get ready for the greatest game in the world......

Fucjkingg awesome and cool as hell man. Zane is a creative genius and the unfathomable darkness of his brilliant mind has spwned one of the greatest gayms of our time. Play it or your a ♥♥♥♥♥.
An intentionally crappy retro shooter that is well made enough to still be fun to play. The game is made as if a teenager from the 90s designed it and it oozes this cringe. I believe it's based on some in-game 'lore' from Hypnospace Outlaw. Graphics-wise the game closely approximates a Build engine game, although the sprites and cutscenes are (presumably intentionally) worse than those. As stated before it's all made as if an edgelord teen from the 90s made it and this aesthetic permeates everything from the sprites to the level design. The audio is very sparse, there are a few one-liners and some sound effects but very little. They're all fine, although the one-liners get repetitive quickly and some better music tracks would've been appreciated. Like all retro shooters, the gameplay is really the important thing and it's.. well, fine. It plays like a poorly-ish made Build game and that is a tried and true formula. The mostly uninteresting enemies and lack of variety of said enemies let it down a bit. It does feature some fun weapons and other gimmicks which along with the basic gunplay make it fun to play. There are some annoying platforming sections unfortunately, but not so many that it ruins the game. All in all, it's a fun short romp that hearkens back to the glorious days of 2.5D shooters and 90s early 2000s culture that has since become very cringey. I do feel like the base price is a tad too high for what it offers though. But in the end, would I recommend it? Yes, with the caveat that you understand that it is a sort of intentionally bad joke product and you love retro shooters.
I honestly expected a glue sniffers hallucination style experience, which yes, I did get, but also the game is genuinely really good even if there are slightly too many poopoo peepee references for my normie sensibilities.
Good "boomer shooter" great humor. THE S BLADE HAS A HACKBLOOD CHARGE!
it's good. Not dusk good, but still a fun boomer shooter. Good soundtrack, entertaining levels and arsenal. One criticism is that the enemies dont feel very unique in terms of the combat and your interaction with them. But still a fun, unique game that I'd recommend
The S-Blade has a Hackblood Charge! The S-Blade has a Hackblood Charge! The S-Blade has a Hackblood Charge! The S-Blade has a Hackblood Charge! The S-Blade has a Hackblood Charge! The S-Blade has a Hackblood Charge! A real fun boomer shoot romp. Filled to the brim of late 90's early 2000's edge, humor, and style. A spin-off game made from a character from the Hypnospace Outlaw universe; honestly I'd love to see more meta games like this be fully realized. Definitely pick this up for a fun romp. Shame it's only one Chapter long.

THE S BLADE HAS A HACKBLOOD CHARGE!!
Duke Nukem 3D but instead it's an edgy teenager from the early 2000's that made it and featured himself in it. It's really funny and has some pretty good gameplay too. The joke isn't the poo-related content, it's why they're in there: the parody of the angsty millennial teenager is so damn good.
