The best Review I can give this game, is I spent 6 hours on the actual puzzles and watching cutscenes, then spent 5 hours grinding for coins to 100% this game. The Red Hair Girl from Slayaway Camp 1-8, I am sorry I made you burn for hours just for achievements... This game is fun, a decently good puzzle game, but... THE GRIND IS HARSH!!! I will say, its worth it on a sale, but for 10 bucks, you can get a better and less grindy puzzle game, however, the game does pay homage to Horror so well, with skins from Evil Dead's Tree, to Ghostface and Pinhead, heck, JAWS got referenced nicely. This game is funny, charming, and one hell of a fun time, but not worth the LONG grind for its price. If you want it, get it. But, I would say, wait for a sale.

This adorable little game combines people's two favorite things; puzzle solving and bloody homicide. With a somewhat campy parody theme based on old slasher films, you find yourself as a tiny Lego Minecraft square style serial killer stuck in a slider puzzle world where you have to move a certain amount the spaces in a certain way in order to get to your victims and I find that just charming. I can certainly tell you my favorite part is the third film in this game called Abusement Park where you play as an evil clown and you get to throw the camp counselor into a woodchipper. Just lovely, simply lovely! This is the best violent adorable puzzle game I have ever played in my life. I find it incredibly addictive and incredibly frustrating where I'll play it repeatedly until my brain hurts and then I have to take a break, but then I find myself wanting to go back to it over and over and over again. I played for half an hour and simply got bored. The game starts veeeeery simple and then introduces 2-3 interesting mechanics but then repeats them over and over. The puzzles are not trivial, but you usually see an obvious apparent solution that is always a red herring, go the other way and often find the solution very quickly maybe with one redo. The "hit the button at the right time" minigame at the end of each level adds nothing imho and is rather misplaced in a puzzle game.

For a game i got for a dollar, its pretty alright. i 100%'d it in under a couple hours or so. I Think the money grinding was especially terrible, Just a really repetitive grind for those last few achievements made me really annoyed. But overall it was fine. 9/10

I’d like to emphasize that this game is by no means life-changing. It’s a pretty simple puzzle game. The atmosphere can wear a little thin when you’re stuck and trying to bruteforce a puzzle, and the sole extra gameplay mode is just a shallow tool to get easy money to buy out the rest of the unlockables. Ultimately, though, this is a very fun, well-presented collection of puzzles. The voxel animation hits the right balance of tones, cute enough to be a cheeky parody without overplaying the silliness. The murder clips that pepper the puzzles help to break up the confined levels, injecting cinematic vigor as you contemplate the static game board. The video store setting and analog media design elements add to the game’s retro charm. Again, that charm wears a little thin when you buckle down to solve the puzzles, but if you know what you’re getting into, you shouldn’t be disappointed.

its an okay video game with a unique concept. if you like gore, and more importantly, puzzles, than this is for you. i also think its funny that the narrator just sounds like hes coming up with what he is saying on the spot.
