Cool concept but not very fun in its current state. Got it on sale for 15$, normal 30$ and I would jump off a cliff before I paid that much for this game. Again, cool concept but not worth the money, nor the time atm.
No I did NOT play for 11 minutes. I sat in a never-ending loading screen that did not appear to be a crash. I'm not going to spend fifteen minutes loading something with those requirements when my computer setup which has nearly twice the quantified value of each requirement can run something much more intensive and load it in seconds.
I don't have any doubts that this game could be great in the future with many more updates that add content, maybe work a bit on the graphics and animations, UI, and a few things here and there. I'm not saying these things in a negative way, I'm just going to state my own opinions while I played the game. [User Inerface] Right off the bat the U.I. and menu look very dull and bland. It is just a few basic squares with generic text. The crafting U.I. and Inventory UI looked good. It was simple in a way that matched the game. [Movement and Dodging] The walking speed feels super fast like a running speed. And you can doge roll endlessly. When you run it feels like you are running on ice, covering a good distance in one walk stride. [Crafting and Gathering] I think the crafting in this game is truely unique and something that I thought was awesome. The gathering of resources is similar to all games. Its not the most fun part but it's a part of the game. [Enemies] The enemies are interesting in their design but it feels like there is no challenge. I killed many of the creatures with ease which didn't seem fun at all. Side note, the dungeons are a cool aspect but I found one that had no enemies in it. it was a room with a chest. I opened the chest and gathered 10 copper. I left, went back in, the room reset, another free 10 copper. It was literally free copper and XP for days. I didn't have to kill anything for copper anymore, just spam that building till my hearts content! [World] The world itself felt empty and was just a bunch of trees and rocks and different biomes. No animals or interesting things in sight besides the large valley of crafting tables that players have left. I think the world is the first thing that could use a makeover and a bid of TLC. [Overall Summary] I think this game could be a great game with its unique ideas and gameplay. However, it does need ALOT of work. To me it felt like I was playing a ROBLOX game with how the environment and sky looked. Would I recommend this game for $18? No not really. It seems like a very high price for a game that lacks content and the other things I mentioned up above. This is my honest review of the game.
GAME IS BUNK. Ive been playing for about half and hour and the game has crashed about 7 times in the span of 8 minutes and it starts crashing within seconds of logging in. Dont promote your product on websites and social media if people cant even walk in the game
I love voxel based MMOs - spent a lot of time in Boundless. This game looks really promising!
TL:DR: If you like building things in Minecraft and want to try building your video game character in the same way, buy it right now, asap. Look at my hours. If you want to play a game to experience lots of content and do lots of things, click follow and keep an eye on it. While there is very little content at the moment, the game is very good for what it is. If there's a glitch go on the discord, the dev, Snubber will handle it ASAP. He actually cares. If you're a creative type like me, you'll get significantly more playtime out of the game than someone who isn't. You essentially edit your skeleton's appearance like building something in minecraft. I'm a character customization junky, and never in a game have I had so much control over my character's appearance. So if you are artistically inclined in any capacity, it becomes a Sea of Thieves style cosmetic grind, which i actually dig.
You can be master chief
I've only played this game for fourty minutes at the time of writing this and I know that there aren't many enemies etc. yet but the idea surrounding this game has made it one of the best games I've ever played
Really love the customizability of gear and how easy it is to get into the game. Getting items isn’t a chore. Look forward to seeing the game expand.
Seems like a decent concept but I keep getting crashes or disconnected and the in game bug report doesn't work plus I lost my entire hand from a disconnect. Definitely can't recommend in current condition.
