Good game need some improvements here and there but what game doesn’t one person making the game he’s already lined up some improvements for October for the game he’s on top of things
I played the game now for a few hours and find it to be a fun game when playing it by your self and also playing with your friends. Easy to figure out, From the looting, building as well as crafting. Awesome work, Excited to see what is next and will keep an eye on this game and surely recommend this for any one that likes survival games
Good game with some great content. Needs some work, but i see this game being something every survival gamer loves. Keep up the good work Dev.
The core is there, the mechanics are there, the foundation is there; It needs polish. Dev is moving to unreal engine 5.4 we'll see what happens. All in all, could be a good game if the developer sticks with it. Look forward to seeing the update.
Ok I know this doesn't matter to most people but....I got this game because it was suppose to have controller support, but it don't..I'm really disappointed because I was hoping the issue would be corrected, but it wasn't and now I can't get a refund
there is simply nothing there. not even the beginnings of a game. i will check back in a year.
Its honestly like DayZ but because I never liked that game maybe I'll try this again later... who knows
Sustained is a unique and immersive survival horror game that really caught me off guard—in the best possible way! From the moment I started, I was pulled into a grim, atmospheric world where every choice I made felt crucial for my survival. Atmosphere and Story The game's setting is haunting, with an eerie, post-apocalyptic landscape that feels alive (or dead, considering the zombies). The story is subtle but intriguing, with enough mystery to keep you guessing while also delivering some genuinely unsettling moments. It's clear that the developers have spent time building a world that feels coherent and immersive. From the way abandoned buildings tell silent stories to the sounds of distant danger, it all adds up to an unsettling, tense experience. Gameplay The gameplay mechanics hit a sweet spot between survival, strategy, and action. You really need to think before acting, whether you're scavenging for resources, fighting off the undead, or deciding who to trust. What I appreciated most was how your decisions genuinely feel impactful—it's not just about shooting your way through but managing scarce resources, deciding when to fight or flee, and staying on your toes. The inventory system is well-designed, balancing realism with playability. Crafting feels essential, and the way you gather resources pushes you to explore while keeping an eye on your surroundings for potential threats. Graphics and Sound Visually, the game nails the gritty, dark aesthetic. It’s not about flashy graphics but about atmosphere. The lighting, shadows, and overall environmental design work in harmony to build tension. The sound design deserves a special mention—every creak, distant moan, or crack of glass underfoot amps up the fear factor. The audio cues often left me paranoid, turning my head IRL to make sure no zombie was sneaking up on me! Developer Support It's refreshing to see a developer so invested in their community. Regular updates, clear communication about upcoming features, and a willingness to listen to player feedback are what keep games like this alive and thriving. The developers are doing an outstanding job of balancing the game, fixing bugs, and introducing new content that enhances the overall experience. Kudos to the team! Conclusion If you're a fan of survival horror with deep strategy elements, Sustained is absolutely worth your time. It's a game that rewards patience, planning, and careful exploration. The tension is palpable, and every encounter feels meaningful. The developers are clearly passionate about their project, and it shows in every aspect of the game. Highly recommend it—especially if you're tired of generic zombie shooters and want something with real depth! ______ ______ ,-' `-. / \ | | |, .-. .-. ,| | )(_o/ \o_)( | |/ /\ \| (_ ^^ _) \__|IIIIII|__/ | \IIIIII/ | \ / `--------` Zombie wants your brains... or maybe your supplies!
