Welp, not what I expected, but overall 5.5 out of 10. Can't give a neutral one, so thumbs up. Also, I doubt I'd say anything new that's not in the other reviews, but I'm throwing in my 10 cents. Turned out, it's a casual and pretty simple arena 1on1 autobattler, where u can't heal with potions during battle. Gotta choose ur moves before battle, hence no pause during it, and u can't retreat during one also. Drop is pretty rnd, hence u can't get nuff good equipment with max 4 stats properly, and swords I only saw at merchants, never had one from drop. Which kinda kills it, since first half of the game u pretty much depend on equip more than lvling (since u get some stats from it). Can't grind thru all the skills, since max lvl is 70, and u need 16 lvls more +1skillpoint on top of that (u get 10 per lvl), prolly shuda change some skill prices. Last dungeon is 100 lvl's, in a row, which is a mood killer for various reasons, shud've been cut into 3-5 diff ones. Then again, getting last few lvl's is a slow grind, since finding any enemies that still give u exp, means u have to get to the very top of that darn tower, and for the last lvl u'll prolly have to grind only 2 last lvl's of it, whilst still goin thru all the prev ones every time, and u can't skip any lvl. Few skills that enemies use have no desc in eng, or a proper one in any other lang, and some enemies fall thru the ground instead of a death anim. Just as all the items at vendors, in inv or skills, lose all icons in a scroll menu if u move it once to the right. Hence u can't really see the price of one. Farthest item can only be reached via arrow buttons, since slider only moves as far, as the one before it. Oh, and freezing skill speaks of some dmg in text desc, whilst stats under it show 0 dmg, and it really does none, which is pretty confusing, the one time I trusted desc instead of stats. Can be completed in a couple of evenings easily. All achievements can be grinded in 10-12h easily. All in all pretty cheap, but that's what one gets for a 90% disc. Still cheaper than half a pizza slice. Was more fun than one. But I still had way better for even less (to be precise, 6 times cheaper for 12x more time spent, and could've go on). Almost a shovelware, one half-step away from it.
It's not a $10 game, but in a bundle or at a discount it's fine. There isn't anything misleading in the pictures or description; you need to realize it's a basic grind and invest emulating part of the table top experience. I wouldn't give it 4 or 5 stars, but it's good enough for what they set out to do.
Es monótono, aburrido, repetitivo y no es desafiante.
As steam doesn't give me an 'indifferent' or 'indecisive' choice, I am reviewing this as recommend as I can slightly recommend it over not. Keep in mind this is not a rogue-like despite being advertised as. But for the game itself? I ended up enjoying it. To complete everything, it is quite a grind, mostly repetitive and towards the end it can get monotonous, but the overall gameplay loop provides satisfaction for people who enjoy trying to figure out how to counter different combat styles and abilities. It is, however, a very bare-bones game, with simple graphics and battle levels, are they are some bugs/issues with skills, etc. still unresolved after 8 years. It can also be frustrating at times. Overall, if you are looking to pick up this game, wait until it's on sale as it goes for 80-90% off.
Mildly entertaining for a mobile game addict, miserable for anyone else.
1/10
This game is a Resource Management / Idle game, regardless of the marketing attempt otherwise. A pleasant surprise, as I enjoy the genre very much! However, this game falls flat. The resources you are managing are limited to equipping your soldier (using gold) and upgrading skills (from level-up points). You choose six skills from the tree, and the order to perform them once, and the automated battle plays out. The main problem is the amount of grind required, in consideration of the very few resources you are managing. The concept is neat but there just isn't enough variation to keep it interesting.
basit rol yapma oyunu aslında güzel gibi de fakat işlet o kadar yavaş ilerliyor ki oyun bayıyor anında heves kırıyor
Would I recommend playing the game?
-Yes, definitely worth a try! **PROS** - The art is pretty good even the animation. - Music is nice. Mob death sounds are kinda funny. - Great time waster. - I am now an official Elemental Knight.
Would I recommend buying the game?
- Nope. Sorry No. Not even on sale xD **CONS** - If this game claims to be rogue-like then there are waaay better titles with this price range. - This is not roguelike but just plain mindless grinding. - It gets boring real fast - Story is basic
(Hero will save girl kind of story)
- I expected more from its title. Unfortunately only 20ish skills from the skill tree. Some Notes/Suggestions: - If we could separate the items equipped from the inventory items (locking items will do). - Loadouts would be cool. - more areas to explore. more skills.
