About
Punch in. Let the madness begin. You're the sole toll booth operator on a remote desert highway. At first, it’s routine: press the button, lift the gate, collect the cash. But routine doesn’t last long out here. You plant strange seeds. You grow bizarre fruit. Soon, you're mixing mocktails and selling drinks to whoever rolls up to the gate. Run your station. Grow your crops. Cook. Serve. Survive!
Manage traffic through your toll gate. Accept payment, deny weirdos, or let them through just to see what happens.
Plant exotic seeds. Harvest the fruits of your labor. Mix and sell cocktails with unpredictable and often alarming side effects. Some customers come back for more. Others don’t.
Farm your ingredients. Plant exotic seeds, water them with a tractor, and harvest bizarre fruits from mutating trees. Everything you need for the drinks... or something else entirely.
Break into houses, grab valuables, and escape before the sirens catch up. Some loot is worth the risk. Some not so much.

Update 3: While my opinion of the game has not changed, I do want to acknowledge the professionalism of Ultimate Games. After I reported my experience, they took my concerns seriously, apologized, and handled the situation respectfully. I appreciate the way they responded, even though I still cannot recommend this game. UPDATE 2: Since the Developer wanted to show inaccurate screenshots, I have attached all the correct screenshots. It shows all the deleted messages in between. I didn't want to share them, but since the developer decided not to tell the truth, I feel as if it is my obligation to share the truth. Here is the link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1oW4SSZX3mARERoxHUGElYnjk4S2SQG2m Everyone is free to make their own decision, but this experience left me with a VERY poor impression. Update: After posting this review, the developer privately messaged me multiple times through the official Discord asking me to change my “Not Recommended” review because it was affecting sales. Several of those messages were later deleted. While I understand negative reviews are difficult to receive, I was uncomfortable with the repeated requests to change my honest opinion. This experience only reinforced my original review. I cannot recommend this game and will not be supporting it going forward. I picked this game up during the Summer Sale, and got it a little cheaper thanks to a bundle. I played for about 4 hours, and somehow I was both bored and not bored at the same time. It feels like there's a lot to do, but not much of it actually has anything to do with running the toll booth. I don't mind doing other activities like making mocktails, running the farm, etc., but if that's what's making me the decent-ish money, then what's the point of the toll booth? After reading some other reviews, I found out you can apparently make money by stealing from people's houses. I honestly had no idea that was even a thing. Maybe once you're able to buy the lockpick, there could be a small tutorial or prompt to let players know it's an option? I just felt kind of lost during my playthrough. Another thing I noticed is that once you hire a worker, you stop getting XP. You also don't get XP for selling mocktails, which feels like a bit of a missed opportunity. Speaking of mocktails... making them one at a time and selling them one at a time is just unnecessarily tedious. I know the roadmap mentions being able to make multiple at once in the future, and honestly, that's probably when I'll give the game another shot. I also hope some of the graphical issues get ironed out. There were a few times while driving where the camera suddenly snapped in a completely different direction. There were also several times where the camera would shake randomly when I was running into the toll booth. Overall, in its current state, I'd recommend picking it up on sale. I wish Steam had a middle option because I don't hate the game, but I don't love it either. It has some fun ideas, but it still feels like it needs a little more time in the oven.
ABSOLTLEY DREADFUL!!! After 86 minutes of running around with clunky controls, I got real sickm real fast of running into doors looking a liitle rounf meter to see how close you were and then finally getting there and EVERY, SINGLE TIME, EVERY, SINGLE ACTION, PRESS "E TO INTERACT", THEY WENT WAY, WAY OVERBOARD WITH IT! And then the nonsensical mocktails! OK, I somewhat enjoyed checking out the passports but other than that this game NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!
I’ve been having a great time playing Toll Booth Simulator so far. What I enjoy most is that it’s not just “sit in a booth and collect tolls” the whole time. There’s actually a nice variety of things to do, which keeps the gameplay from getting repetitive. One minute you’re working the toll booth, the next you’re farming, making mocktails, then going into town to sell them or even lockpicking houses to make some extra cash and pay off your debt. It sounds a bit chaotic on paper, but it all works together really well and gives the game its own charm. The game also runs very smoothly for me, which honestly makes a big difference with simulator-style games. I haven’t run into any major issues, and it already feels like there’s a solid foundation here. You can tell the solo developer has a lot of ideas for where they want to take it. I’m especially excited for the future updates and everything shown on the roadmap. If the game is already this enjoyable in its current state, I’m really looking forward to seeing how much more gets added over time. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy simulator games with a mix of different activities instead of doing the same task over and over. I’ve also suggested a few ideas in the Discord chat, and the developer seems genuinely interested in implementing community suggestions in future updates, which is always nice to see.
There is no fun to this game, the name of the game should be around the toll booth, instead your farming to make money and then selling mocktails over and over and over to speed it up you can offer mocktails to the same 3 or 4 people just to get rid of them and make the money which increses the repetition, theres nothing to unlock after 5mins and it is repetitive rince and repeat.
I played the game hoping for a simplified Papers, Please experience. What I got was an hour of that, then an ungodly amount of mixology powered by carpal tunnel and pears, accentuated by robbery and dragging dead people to be probed for a cup of juice. The pros: Experienced no jank, at least nothing that seemed unintentional. Had no soft locks, no crashes, nothing got stuck in any way. I chuckled a few times at poses and x-rays and a certain reference in the desert. The cons: It gets stale very quickly. There is an extremely small pool of names and many are repeating offenders with the exact same issues every time. Two mechanics are brought up (spills and people needing help with gas) and these two mechanics never come up again. There is also no variety in inspections past protocol 7. It feels like the game is in early access but isn't being advertised as such, possibly due to the growing aversion of such games by players who want to play something finished....and this, unfortunately, is why. There's something here, and I could see myself playing it a lot more some day in the future, it's just lacking a lot of polish right now and isn't really the game it's advertised as: Running a toll booth. Which makes incredibly little money compared to, I dunno, being a backwoods farmer that sells their garbage to a poo-colored beer belly alien in their trailer. Hopefully someday I will edit this review into the positive, looking forward to it.
Game seems like it has potential in the first 10 mins, but then its empty of life, making cocktails feels like a chore, getting employees stops your XP gain, scanning vehicles to find out its just one thing and you cant interact with it like in contraband etc. robbing houses can give u all the money u need to buy everything, leaving you bored.
I went into this expecting to just lift a gate and collect change, but Toll Booth Simulator is so much more. It’s a chaotic, high-stakes cocktail of document checking, desert survival, and... mocktail mixology? It sounds insane, and it is—but that’s exactly why it’s brilliant The "One More Car" Hook: Checking passports and catching smugglers is satisfyingly tense, but the way the game opens up into farming bizarre fruits and running a roadside bar is a genius pivot. 🍹 Risk & Reward: Do you play by the book to pay off your debt, or do you start breaking into houses and selling questionable "potions" to drivers to speed up your freedom? The choice-driven gameplay is perfect for a series. Atmosphere & Absurdity: The isolated desert vibe is spot-on, and the NPC interactions range from hilarious to genuinely unsettling. You never know who’s pulling up to your gate next. Solo Dev Polish: For a project primarily by SifDev, the level of detail and the speed of updates (like that quick Steam Deck fix!) is incredibly impressive. My verdict: If you like management sims with a dark sense of humor and deep, overlapping mechanics, buy this immediately. This is going to make for an incredible Let's Play series! To the Developer (SifDev): A huge thank you for giving me the chance to do a first impressions review of Toll Booth Simulator! You’ve managed to create a gameplay loop that is uniquely addictive and full of personality. It’s rare to find a game that balances so many different genres—simulation, farming, and exploration—without losing its focus. The community is already loving the quirks, and I’m personally excited to see how my viewers react to the "chaos" of the desert highway. Thank you for the trust and for making such a standout title! The game has potential but is not there at the moment. The game is alright and for a solo dev to have done this is great work. I will be refunding has it will just sit in my library for months until more updates are done. The repetitive people at the toll booth is annoying and the lines not matching up when you decline them for carrying the weapons or no driving licence and they mention they used passport for coffee. The game is not for me right now, but it doesn't mean others may not have fun with it. I think it should have been a EA game but honestly if the dev needed some funding to help get the game more updates I can see why they have not put it into EA and just gone for the release instead. There is also some funny moments and I do hope to visit again in the future and see what the Dev has been able to do with it. I am only refunding just in case more updates do not happen, I have been burnt to many times when I have gone to support a game by buying it and hoping future or promised future updates would look to improve the game just for the game to be abandoned. Good Luck Dev and hope to see what this game potentially has the chance to become.
Quirky and fun in the beginning, but then quickly feels like an aimless grind with objectives at long distances to maximize the time you need to spend traveling back and forth. I can get why some people enjoy it as its fairly quirky, but this seems more like a $5 game than a $15/16 game.
гра недоробляна, робити немає що заробити 1.000.000 дуже нудно не рекомендую грати в цю гру на момент написання відгуку
