Ah yes, Scalies Tony Hawk! So this is how they produce Crocs. No h8trs only skstr g8trs. But seriously this game is so delightful. Tons of fun skating and gating. I would die for this G8r. He was a skater boy She said, "See you later, boy" He wasn't good enough for her She had a pretty face But her head was up in space She needed to come back down to earth! Not gonna lie, my Florida man's heart beats with excitement every second I'm playing this game. There's something I find magical about Steam's discovery queue. You could be just aimlessly browsing, then suddenly you're hit with a game that will become your one night obsession. Last year it was Sex with Hitler, this year it was this game. That's how yesterday I came across Sk8r G8tr, and then spent the rest of my night completing it. It’s a GR8 game. This game is super adorable and a blast to play. The art, rocking soundtrack, great level design and just, gah, everything. Very well done! Challenging enough to feel accomplished but not so much to feel defeated. Way more content than the price suggests. Fast paced, high flying and amusing. It's well worth it for the price, as it has fun but not too deep gameplay. Despite the low price, the game has a fantastic presentation. From the bangin' soundtrack, to the charming visuals, you would never guess that the game's so cheap. While it is a short game, it takes advantage of that to the fullest. The controls are smooth and satisfying, the art style is cartoony and pleasant to look at, and the game just oozes charm. Each gameplay style feels developed enough to be decently challenging and enjoyable, while also flowing into one another naturally through the world design. Despite the short length, I was very pleasantly surprised with the game. It's one of those titles I could see myself coming back to time and time again. tldr: funny aligator on skateboard, good game. 8/10

Got this game on a Humble Bundle bundle months ago. As it was included along other games for dirt cheap, I thought "meh this must be one boring game". And boy, I was wrong! [h1]Simple yet fun gameplay[/h1] As you can see in the trailer, it's a side scroller platformer where you collect eggs, aka collectibles. Thing is, both the OST and the visuals makes it so much enjoyable to play that my last level, which was secret level from world 3, took me 1 hour and honestly I had fun regardless! Now, the game is very VERY short, main story collecting everything took me 1.5 hours. However, this makes this a nice refresher from when you need a break from long games. For me, I took a random short thing from my backlog and it happened to be this one. Honestly way better than I initially expected. The base price, which is 2.39€, it's also very cheap and for the content you get I think it's very fair. The fact that you can also speedrun against staff times is also a very neat addition, would say it would be even better if you could also load friends' times like how Disc Room does it so you can compete against your friends list, or like having a leaderboard per level would also be cool. [h1]Overall[/h1] If you are looking for a short, fun game to play and also love "racing" side scrollers, go get this game. It's worth the price and time! PSA: the turtle skin is the best thing ever made and it should be properly recognized as the best skin EVER.
