About
Sinoda is an abstract strategy game in which players attempt to win by taking each other’s pieces. However, it’s not the number of pieces that matters, but the point value of those pieces.
With each turn, players can move a piece OR adjust a piece’s value up or down by one. The number atop each dice indicates its movement and point value. More maneuverable pieces are worth more points to opponents if captured, so plan wisely!
The game ends when:
A player loses all their pieces OR
A player captures six opposing pieces OR
All players have only one piece left
When the game ends the player with the highest score wins!
In two-player games, you can claim victory through the special “Win by Sinoda” condition by gaining so many points your opponent can’t catch up, even if they capture all your remaining pieces. In games with three or more players, a player down to their last piece becomes pivotal, as others may protect them to prevent the leading player from ending the game for the win.
Mix things up with one of our five unique modes:
Classic
High ground
Low ground
Double Action
Mad King
Sinoda can be played alone against AI or with up to 6 players.

The bots are mean.
I am one of the designers of the physical game. Maple Bay has done a great job setting up the STEAM version. I like the various ways to play. A lot if different things we experimented with during play testing. These are some of the things that we felt were worthy, nicely adapted to a digital format. Higher/Lower ground I Like as it is the most unique by adding the different boards and only one extra rule. Sinoda has a clean rule set but plays much different at each player count. I like that we can play with people from all over the world even solo play to learn abd improve against AI players. Find us at BSGames.ca.
兩人遊戲時有設計缺陷,一方只要重複變數字(1~2間)就有防禦優勢,先攻擊的吃虧。
I'm the other designer of the original tabletop version of Sinoda, and I have to say that this adaptation is really cool. It captures the feel of the game on screen, and it's great to see the other modes that we talked about but didn't implement in the tabletop version. This is a great way to play with friends who aren't local, or to meet new people to play!
Great representation of the board game! Heavily recommended if you want to play it online with friends, or you want to show it to someone but don't have the physical game handy!
Already enjoyed the physical game so it's great to see a digital version with additional modes.
