Silicon Tycoon

Run an electronics company from 1980 to today. Start with an empty campus and an HQ, and grow from the first home computers and brick phones to 24-core processors and quad cameras. START YOUR COMPANY Start as a PC company or a phone company, name it, and pick Easy, Medium or Hard. A short tutorial walks you to your first sale. RESEARCH 45 YEARS OF TECH Research processors, memory, graphics, storage, phone chips, displays, cameras and batteries. Each part arrives around the year it did in real life, from 64 KB of memory to 64 GB. DESIGN YOUR PRODUCTS Build desktops, laptops and phones part by part in the 3D product designer. Choose the body material, color, cooling and phone style, then set a price with the suggested price as a guide. BUILD YOUR CAMPUS Build an R&D lab, a chip fab and assembly plants. Buy assembly lines, hire researchers, engineers and line workers, and place orders to keep stock on the shelves. Your pixel-art campus grows as the company does. BEAT YOUR RIVALS Six rival companies fight you for desktops, laptops and phones. Check the market to compare their models, prices and market share with yours. EXPAND Open a second division to take on another market, and add a laptop branch to your PC division. WIN AWARDS Every year ends with an annual report and awards like Desktop, Laptop and Phone of the Year and Company of the Year. Every five years a grand awards show looks back at the best of those years. PLAY YOUR WAY Three save slots, pause and fast-forward, and everything plays offline on iPhone and iPad.
