Signs of Life is a sci-fi survival sandbox platformer with a combination of procedurally generated and hand-crafted content. You'll explore mysterious locations, Mine blocks for resources, and meet strange (and some familiar) creatures, some of which don't even want to kill you and eat your corpse.

I started following this game back when it came out... A long road ago (where I thought the game had been abandoned for a while) only to be surprised when NEW STUFF keeps popping up! More things to do, storyline, a whole cybernetics system! Amazing stuff! The gameplay takes a little while to get used to, and the unique interface and inventory aren't entirely intuitive... but once you get the hang of it, it's clear why that's what is used! Starting again from scratch with all the updates was a fun experience and really did surprise me how much has changed from early release. I'm a big fan, now if you'll excuse me, I need to go kill a giant [REDACTED] by kicking it in the ass...
There is some kind of ethereal vibe to this game because of it's setting, music, and sound design that just relaxes your brain which can be a bad thing whenever you get jumped by aliens. But it's good until you can't figure out what to do next. i'm sure a walk through would help and I keep telling myself I'll get around to it, but I haven't. I really want to play the multiplayer to this game
I gave the game a lot of chances due to thinking it could be interesting, but very quickly I hit a wall where I had no actual idea what I was supposed to do, navigating the world is not good and for some reason you need to level up your tools to be able to build in some places, meaning you could get stuck in a deep hole with no way out, which should be the one worry you shouldn't have in a crafting game where everything is destructible. I like the hands off approach to exploring and trying out items, but sometimes it's a bit too hands off to the point where the ingame helper tool gives you nothing(sometimes literally, since there's no help text for some stuff). If you wanna try it at least keep an eye on the refund window, I didn't.
In a world where it seems 90% of Early Access games become abandonware or money grabs please just support this game they're still updating it even after many years, thats more than I can say for what seems most games on Early Access.
One of like the very first games i ever played somehow which.. makes it nostalgic even though its contemporay?fun exploration game, even moreso with a "dialogue". Everything is actually pretty.. animated? like there's a lot of attention to detail for such a small game. thought it all but died but... Sudden Signs of Life!
I can't remember when I got this game but it seems like it may have been a decade ago. I think about it a lot still. Had a great time playing it, the graphics were good, the achievements gave me a chuckle, the systems were great, the setting and scenarios are fantastic. It's still being updated. Honestly, 10/10. Would heartily recommend this to anyone and everyone
Not surprised it ended up abandoned tbh
genuinely the worst game I have ever played
Really well designed. Buy this game! Maybe it'll help the dev decide to make more. :)
