1. The game is in beta, it's literally mentioned in the opening segment. If that's true, it should be listed as an early access game or similar. Instead, it's released as a full game... 2. It's a $17 game with about 6-7 hours content because of some big game breaking errors. I have 11.5 hours into it with mostly just being forced to rerun the map for no reason... 3. Half the game or more is reliant on a night/daytime mechanic which is quite broken. If you stand close to a puzzles entity and step back too far, it will reset the puzzle, this is intended as a mechanic, but it is broken for nighttime. Night puzzles have a lit dot mechanic that does NOT reset when you step out of the puzzle, which means you'll have to run half way around the map to find a daytime stone to hit, then run again to a night stone to reset the night puzzle. This is game breaking and will require lots of back and forth over long distances just for ONE shot at a puzzle. You have to be extremely careful to not walk out of the puzzles entity or it will reset and you'll have to run all over the map again, scrambling to reset it. 4. The save mechanic is trash, it saves on its own without anything to tell you when it saves. I've had to redo entire sections over and over because it doesn't save correctly. The dev should add a manual save mechanic, how hard can that be? Or at the minimum it should save after completing ANY puzzle. 5. The puzzles are varied and I like many of them, but many are just trial and error puzzles, some really make no "logical" sense at all and are just find the right button and you win. If you like rinse and repeat puzzles, they work, but nothing spectacular here. 3/10 I enjoyed some puzzles. The concept seems neat, but it's far from a complete game with this price tag.
So, lets get this straight. Indie puzzle game, so far no lies At the start, and depending on your experience on puzzle games, it might seem kinda basic, but since theres literally 0 text on the game and nobody to expain nor guide you, after the first stage things start to get harder, it forces you to look outside the box to continue with the game, which i found awesome mechanic that you dont find in this type of games nowadays. As graphically talking there's no much to say. Were not talking about a AAA game, but an indie. it is a kind of simple and with his own beauty. It has room for improvement, but watching its not the first game he has done, and ever for the screenshots he have on steam, they're on the way to improve to make better games I didn't found any gamebreaker bugs at least for now, even tho i was expecting them. Things that i think that might need some atention, for example, it lacks maybe some audio. Don't need to be music, but maybe some birds sounds or wind to match the atmosphere on the stages TLDR: Fun indie puzzle game, has a bunch of hours on it, needs some improvement but its actually in a decent stage

Sideral is a first person 3D rendered low poly selection of Unity based puzzle minigames. While there's some scope for 3D puzzle games (Portal and Qube are great examples), this isn't implemented well enough to satisfy that niche. The puzzles are all really basic Sokoban style block placement/pathing puzzles that are done just as well in old 1990's Flash games. How is this to appeal to modern PC gamers? The technical implementation is equally weak. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. Bewilderingly, the game doesn't include proper audio controls, so you can't turn off the annoying background music, you'll need to alt+tab out and stop the music using the Windows sound mixer. This is obviously not okay and it's unclear why the developers chose not to include this basic feature. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Sideral didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is Esf1, and only around 27 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game, less than half the players. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. That's right, only 3. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason. Sideral has the insane price of around $7 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam.
The game is still in beta and it shows. For example, during the whole section from the red labyrinth to the super annoying final labyrinth, the game does not save your progress. So if you take a break from the game, you'll have to redo about 20% of the game to continue. One bug seems to have been fixed since june 2019: The lasers within night puzzles do reset when you reset the puzzle. The puzzles range from somewhat entertaining to soul-draining (the final labyrinth). If the saving mechanism were fixed and maybe every fail left a marker on the ground in the final labyrinth, I'd give the game an upvote. As it is, it is an exercise in frustration and recommended only for people with a very big tolerance for pointless punishment.

well well, what can i say about this game, lets start by telling you it is kinda similar to "the witness" its a open world puzzle game without any instructions and just you running around solving things. It still lacks of some things like background music and a visual update (i know they are not gamplay changer but...), maybe a drawing giving you some advice and defintedly needs a menu, with options panel and a way to store saves or maybe replay any puzzle without having to play fullgame again. Some puzzles are harder than others but in general the difficulty progression is fine, really easy at the beggining and the more you explore the harder it gets. ______________________________________________________________________________ mecanics / gameplay -- 8'5 some are pretty good but it can get a bit repetitive graphics --------------- 6 pleeeenty of room to upgrade, but still decent comming from a single person music ------------------ 5 the only sound you hear are your steps, which isnt that bad but i would like some birds os sea price ------------------- 6'5 i know there's a loot of work in this bc i made some games myself and its really timeconsuming but i dont think 15e is a fair price, dont get me wrong, im not saying its expensive but maybe the current state of the game is still not worth that much, i gladly paid it bc i think it will get improvements and with a bit of time it could end up being worth way more than 15. overall ----------------- 7 the game is good but could be better, if you like puzzles and dont mind basic graphics go for it!
