Love this game. Took me a few plays after loving Civ 5 to love Civ 6, but I did fall in love with it. It is notr an easy win, it is challenging.

It's definitely a learning curve, but if you like strategy sims I'd absolutely try it. Most strategies you can think of are viable if you're smart about it, and there are multiple ways to win. Plus, if you want a more focused game you can turn any win condition and quite a few other features on or off. Basically, you can play pretty casual or extremely complex as you please. Most of my play time is on the Switch version, but it's way easier to navigate the hud on pc. My only real complaint is the load time, but again, most of my play time is on the Switch so take that as you will.

If you're looking for the best Civ, download Civ V instead.

After my military service, I found Civilization VI a wonderful heavy-minded distraction. It has so many wonderful small things to remember and distract yourself with.

i like cause its so good i just hate when there is start and then game starts saying from the first beginings of life beneath water ... i hate that and i also like when they make who said that phrase
