Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2.14/day in the week after.

Waste of everything. Glitches out your *ss. When (IF) you do get it to play, stops working once all techs are discovered.
Better then them most of the Franchise, but that is if you like this type of Strategy Genre Games. 9/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1301.57/day in the week to Jul 25 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Still better than Civ VII.
One of my top three Civilization games alongside Civ V and VI. Beyond Earth + Rising Tide is all about choice and adaptation. Affinities (Harmony, Supremacy, Purity) don’t just change gameplay — they define your civilization’s philosophy. Sometimes you pick your path out of principle, sometimes based on nearby resources or aggressive neighbors. Rising Tide added floating cities that truly impact strategy — resource control, mobility, territory. The game’s biggest strength is replayability and flexibility. Every run feels different. A shame we never got one more expansion — the potential was massive.
It's a better game than Civ7.
NICHTS FUNKTIOJNIERT!!! ES KOTZT MICH AN!!! WARUM NUTZLOSE UPDATES WENN SPIEL NICHT FUNKTIONIERT!!!!! DASSELBE MIT ALLE SPIELE (Cyberpunk, Civilzation, u.a.). UPDATES = NICHTS FUNKTIONIERT MEHR!!! DAS KOTZT MICH JETZ AN!!!! DANN BITTE KEINE NUTZLOSE UPDATES WENN DIE NICHT FUNKTIONIEREN HERRGOTTNOCHMAL!!!!! ES ! KOTZT! MICH! ANNN!!!!!!!!
Uninteresting at best. All the (arbitrary) quest perks seem cool at first coming from Civ until you realize it just doesn't matter. Tech tree is not linear and it's all made up concepts so it really isn't particularly intuitive how to progress and science has an air of grind to it. The concept is not really fun enough to make me want to learn how to get better at the game or progress to higher difficulties. Just feels like another long-winded time waster from Sid Meier.
Despite the numerous problems with the AI and attempts to increase the playability aspects of the BE_RT, I find myself continually returning here and adding more hours to my total time with it. Somewhere in the structure of the game is a hook that keeps me coming back for more! ENJOY!
Excellent game! Hidden gem. This overlooked alternate version of CIV V has aged very well. Brilliant music!
Game is pretty lacking overall in comparison to other Civilization games. Diplomacy is almost non existent, there's no trade, the AI is awful, and there are some pretty game breaking relic effects that just make you an unstoppable monster with no chance for AI to even come close to beating you. Seriously the AI is so bad. They will sail a whole fleet up to me and not attack any of my units... ??? Not to mention no building queues for cities, which just slows down turns so much in the late game. It's brutal. Game is very broken but for some reason I still could not get a refund when I first purchased it.
