Reviews
Is it the best of Civ entries? Surely not, but it is still a lot of fun and guarantees you'll play "just...one...last..turn...", After spending a combined 4K+ hours on Civ 5 and 6, it was and is the Sci-Fi setting that makes me come here repeatedly.
There just something not right with this game, unlike other civ games this just does not pull you in. You do not get that one more turn feeling...
If you take it at face value and don't think about it too hard, it's a lot of fun. Worth it on sale.

This was conceived as a modern remake of Alpha Centauri. Alpha Centauri was one of my favourite games of all time. I forgot I even had this in my steam library. That pretty much sums the game up.
This is an enjoyable game to whittle away hours. The detail is incredible in the game play. The creation of the worlds, and tech development time line is enjoyable.
To many errors and problems with no help at all from Steam. They literally take your money sell it to you and then cut you out. Try to talk to anyone from Steam and see for yourself.

it's been more than 10 years but I just went back to play it and it's actually not bad.
Maybe I just don't like Civ games.
