Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 29 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Shrot is a bite-sized old-school action RTS set on a sandy planet with horses, tractors and techno music.
The game draws inspiration from Paranoia, a Czech remake of Dune 2 and the third real-time strategy game ever made, released only in the Czech Republic in 1995. Shrot changes the formula by adding a mix of modern features and leaning towards faster, more action-packed gameplay.

Its a really good game so far, altho I have only beat 1 battle at review time, the interface is very slick and there's even voice narrative cutscenes. Really liked the intro and in just a short few minutes the dev constructs a really cool and interesting sci fi world. Will write a larger review later when I get more playtime with it. Also to anyone comparing this to dune2 or other games, yes it has similar gameplay and unit setup. But it flows a lot differently, very fast and real time. Enhanced explosions and effects too, so its not just simply dune2 or an older game I played those rts games and this is not the same as them. Its similar but it plays its own way and has its own mechanics. Unlike dune2 you don't have to worry about spice or worms, but water and other more realistic resources which I actually like more myself. You can even zoom in and out of units something most of the older rts games including total annihilation which I love didn't even have... Which would be great in a remaster.
the game is ok but GOOD GOD are there SOO many missing RTS features and quite a decent more amount of things: - can only queue up max 10 units per building - cant auto build units - units have path finding of a down syndrome kid - the enemy AI most likely doesnt operate on an economy since it spams units like hell - theres no attack move so you cant tell you units to attack while moving so it just turns into your units AI running around trying to find a spot that counts as "arrived at location" so it can then finally start shooting the enemy unit that seems to not have this problem - the random money nodes are annoying when your harvester AI just blatantly walks into enemy fire to harvest a bush when there are already 5 bushes near/closer to the base and out of harms way - there is basically no tutorial... the "training" just consists of literally just being thrown into a game with some pre built buildings and you have to figure out what to do before the AI on the map kills you - since every single non-"training" map is randomly generated you get a high chance of the AI spawning near you and the rest of the map being unreachable since the enemy spams units and just keeps sending raid parties at your harvesters and you just cant outproduce the enemy and thats if it doesnt just straight up destroy you before you build up over all its a nice concept but with modern technology i can literally vibe code (and actually have) a better version with more features ive only spent 30 mins prompting and got basically the same result as this game (the 30 mins was because i was having fun testing it otherwise i would have gotten more done in that time) i havent gotten back to my vibe coded RTS but im sure it would only be a few more prompts to surpass this game in features and gameplay (i used payed GPT 5.5 but if you want a locally run AI with decent code competence then i recommend qwen 3.6-27b) so nice game but considering when it was made the dev could have just vibe coded it and done more in less time at least allow modding/workshop so people can add more features to it themselves no point now tho since the game is abandoned but one big plus is the HEAVY czech accents lol definitely had a laugh with that one

Really fun little RTS game that gives off heavy Dune vibes!
Space beer good, yum yum.
Congratulations. This is best PC strategy on STEAM. The Czechs are currently making the best games.
Po update je to zase hratelné "nejde to už ve čtvrté misi. nic pro normálního hráče po práci se ješte rozčilovat nad chybama"
Lots of fun and great memories of Dune II. Simple games are often the best ones. Great job!
Prosta, świetna gra. Ten podkład muzyczny.... coś pięknego
