✓ You need only left + right buttons ✓ Multiple procedurally generated levels ✓ Different stages in a level ✓ Nice bright colors ✓ Awesome soundtrack Sounds familiar, huh? Now even better: ✓ Multiple endless modes ✓ LOCAL CO-OP for every mode ✓ Death counter TL;DR Super Hexagon with local co-op and more awesome stuff. Still reading this and not clicking on Add to cart?
Feels a lot like Super Hexagon.

Frantic
The same controls (just rotation with 2 buttons)
The same league of difficulty (achievements are probably more difficult)
Levels are random, but consist of predefined elements
Completion based on time
Has endless modes
Simplistic, interesting graphics
Amazing soundtrack
This game, however, has a kind of a practice mode that can be enjoyed by almost everyone. It is slower and has checkpoints. What saddens me, though, is there are only 2 sets of obstacles. There are some additional game modes that reuse those sets, and other modes that are just random, luck-based and lame. ★★★★★★★★☆☆
Pivvot is a fantastic strategic avoidance game in the likes of Super Hexagon or Boson-X. It's easy to get sucked into the fantastic music and smooth gameplay, as you spin and dodge various obstacles. It also holds numerous ways of playing it, so it's balanced for all levels of expertise. It's one of those games that you'll be spending hours upong hours playing, without noticing so much time has passed. That game can annoy you a little but it's not like you will rage. I never thought that the offline-multiplayer-modus (playing with friends or siblings on 1 computer) can be that much fun :D. You can revive your mate if he "dies" and the other way around. I'd recommend it if you want to play a game - for offline-multiplayer fun and - for a game you can play from time to time or while waiting for something,.. (no story parts, no addiction in my eyes) Rating: ★★★★★
Fun game, similar in style to Super Haxagon, although the gameplay is a bit different. If you enjoy games like Super hexagon, I'd recommend this to you.
Pivvot makes me cry the kind of tears only Super Hexagon can pull out of me. The concept seems simple enough until you get to the looper mode, then you repeat it until you realise that you're crouching in your computer chair, slowly rocking yourself into a fetal position. 11/10, would recommend. Catchy music, addictive gameplay.
A nice little time killer with super simple gameplay, very similar to Super Hexagon. Basically, It's Super Hexagon on a rail. Each game could last between 30 seconds to 30 minutes. Despite the super simple gameplay the difficulty can range from challenging to rage-inducing. If you're up to the challenge though or want something to keep you busy atleast, give it a shot!

Morlan's shorts:

A memory-reflex obstacle-avoid type of game. You pivot anti/clockwise (Pivot. PIVOT..PIVOT!!! ) your ball and chain around the obstacle course which gets progressively harder by each level. Tight controls, mimimalistic graphics, fitting music and fast respawn which is a major issue with many "fast-paced" games and makes or breaks it. We're good here. It can make you rage-quit but it's fair to the player. It was your fault.. Slightly overpriced for the content (let's face it, it's pretty simple), but here's a thumb from the gripping gameplay. Don't waste more time reading lengthy reviews.. time is of the essence!
Понравилось.
PROS: + 8 game modes + cool aesthetic + challenging gameplay + nice soundtrack + local co-op up to 4 players CONS: - overall jagged movement - analog stick controls are really bad - no online co-op - music gets tedious after a while (only 5 songs, 1 for each mode) Comment: The aesthetic is really nice. Some would say it is too simple but I like it. Each obstacle is unique visually which adds to the experience. The music is great but with a game where you repeat the level over and over it got annoying after a while. In fact my own performance in levels increased when I turned it off and just played random music or a podcast. There is gamepad support but apparently not for all gamepads. However this matters little when you realize that analog sticks are worse for moving around than arrow keys or D-pad. This means you really do not get extra precision with a gamepad so you do not miss out when using just a keyboard/mouse. Originally I planned a positive review because I had fun, initially. But my opinion got increasingly negative the more I played. I don't mind the difficulty but the seemingly unfairness of the controls. The movement isn't smooth. This makes it very frustrating when you react in time and correctly for an obstacle but you are at a bad angle and the movement simply does not let you get into the right position. The casual/standard modes don't really have this problem but later on when you NEED precision it is hard to achieve. Even when adjusting the input sensitivity it still did not help. If you turn it down it is better for precision but you fail at faster turns/obstacles. Raising it helps with fast movement but kills your precision. So you are probably stuck with the (default) middle ground anyway. This could be a cool difficult game but the lack of tweaking hurts it a lot. It is actually a port from mobile so it explains some things but doesn't excuse it. If you just go for Voyage, Looper and some of the endless modes you can overlook the flaws and I recommend it for you. But if you plan to finish all the modes, like me, be prepared for a lot of frustration. As such I end up giving the game a slight thumbs down just because good controls are vital in a game like this. *Note: The local-only co-op can be circumvented by using Steam Remote Play Together. ------------------------------------------------------------------ If you liked this review you can find more on the Curator page or in my Review Corner.
